Marcus Baby was born in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, in 1969. Even in the 1990s decided to create their own sculptures using as a base child dolls or collectible Action Figures such as Barbie, Max Steel, Susi and anothers like that. After years of research and no academic advising, officially started his collection in November 2005. He began to celebrate national and international celebrities customizing their own dolls, turning them into sculptures, popularly known as "Toy-Art".

With the replicas displayed in an Internet blog, created exclusively for display of his art, has called the attention of several of the honorees, where his name was gradually being reviewed by the brazilian press to get his first big national hit with the creation of a controversy wheelchair doll, inspired by a famous Brazilian soap opera character. He also drew the attention of the press with the refusal to sell the famous Brazilian TV host replica of his own, who became subject of tabloids and gossip Web sites in early 2010. With the huge success, others became celebrities and famous not only adimirar his art, but also help with publicity and anxiously awaiting their replies.
