Love the atmospherics on this song. Is that just a delay on the guitar or is there a tremolo/phaser effect too? Great lyrics too.

Old Times

Taken form a session I threw together a couple of years ago and never used. I'd been listening to a lot of John Hartford and wondered how he might've used a load of horns if he had them at his disposal. Some beautiful playing by some good friends.

Squirrel Hunters

For some reason I always heard horns on the old time tune 'Spotted Pony', perhaps its something to do with, to my ears the slightly 'Baroque-ish-ness' of the melody. I'm sure this will drive the Old Time brigade nuts. If you don't want to hear the horns tune it off a couple of minutes in.
