Quartz sent 'Brass Knuckles' over and I built an instant love for it. It was just completely different to anything else out there.  I've always been an easy pushover to any percussion / bongo led tunes since way back and this one definitely is no exception. I saw Mantra support this one real early on back in 2018, she had the same test version I had and it looked like the Keep Hush crowd really went for this one too, most of the other tracks on DISDUB019 are fresher out the studio, but this tune was the instigator and over time felt like a solid starter for a 180g plate of funk.

Forget subgenres, the man from Nottingham is not one to mess around, this is straight up Drum& Bass that hits hard and you are getting it whether you like it or not.

Featuring @itsharibo on the mic, 'Scum' is an absolute griller. Greasy basses and tribal percussion set
the tone for a dark dingy journey centred around the froth which lives on top of murky water.

Crisp and bouncy drums are at the centre of 'Mix It Up'. If you aren't paying attention you could get caught out by the behemoth-like growls. Full of energy, Retrakt is not for the faint hearted.
