A last minute booking had me open the return of 150BPM's 150% LIVE HARDWARE. It's live and raw and the quality of the artists just keeps getting better and better.The set was mainly new experiments inspired by the early sounds of techno. Marcus Newman is a live electronic music artist. Obsessed with radio shows on KISS FM in the late 90's he obtained a healthy appetite for all things techno. His education at Media Arts RMIT introduced him to a wide range of sonic explorations influencing his current style. His energetic improvised live performances create unique compositions heavily focussed on getting the dance floor moving. His progressive style blends elements of acid house and techno using analogue and digital synths. 

Marcus Newman lives and works in Naarm / Melbourne.
