Trevor Reilly – Down With The Underground (Ian Stirling Remix)

Originally released in 1998, Down With The Underground is a deep, driving club record rooted in the late-90s underground house movement. This remix reimagines the original through a modern Afro-influenced and melodic house lens, while preserving the raw, hypnotic energy that made the track resonate on dancefloors first time around.

Rolling percussion, warm low-end, and subtle melodic tension are used to bridge classic underground attitude with a contemporary club sound, making the remix equally at home in sunset sets, peak-time builds, or late-night sessions.

This version is designed for the dancefloor — respectful to the original, but firmly grounded in the present.

The original track’s impact extended far beyond clubs, with Trevor Reilly performing Down With The Underground at Estadio Azteca in 1998 — a moment that underlined the record’s significance within Mexico’s underground dance culture. This remix is created with full respect for that history, offering a modern interpretation while honouring the legacy of the original.

The iconic “ADA” by Marcus Schössow and NEW_ID, smashed it the past few weeks in the clubs and at the festivals. The summer anthem received a huge amount of support by some of the biggest and most respected DJ’s on the globe. A strong remix package of “ADA” was considered to be just a matter of time. Well, Bolier and Corey James had to honor to give this tune their own touch, and that’s exactly what they both did: They delivered fresh and amazing takes on our anthem “ADA”.

When you hear the original of “ADA” you immediately recognize the summer anthem feel. Bolier kept his take on his good friend Marcus Schössow and NEW_ID their collaboration sunny. However, he made it more intimate, techy and at the same time a bit more tropical. Bolier did with “ADA” what he manages to do with his own tracks too: Making it accessible, light hearted, groovy, but still very credible and desirable for fans and DJ’s.
 
It’s hard these days not to know one or two tracks from Bolier. The Dutchman created a recognizable (deep)house sound that brought him millions of Spotify plays. He’s one of Spinnin Records its front runners when it comes to the deeper house sounds. But he’s also one of Code Red and Marcus Schössow its best and most loyal friends.

After the free giveaway of “Theme in C# minor”, Bolier is back again on Code Red with his beautiful remix of “ADA”. A must have and hear for everyone that loves this summer anthem, but just wants to take it down a few notches, but still wants to groove and move.

Following on from their Sosumi Summer smash, ‘Mali’, David Novacek and Yvvan Back return to Kryder’s legendary label, with their hot new anthem ‘No Way’. 

Blending punchy kicks with a truly groove-led core, ‘No Way’ is a funky-future-hit, and follows David Novacek’s previous involvement with the Kryteria Music Group, after releasing ‘Guata’ on Cartel Recordings last Autumn. The Czech-born artist has amassed a varied back-catalogue across several impressive labels, such as Armada, Spinnin’ Records, and many more, en route to performing a special set at Kryder’s ADE Boat Party in 2018. Since then, the European artist has collaborated with ‘God Save The Groove’s very own Stevie Krash, and now comes full circle by teaming up with Yvvan Back.

The latter, an Italian starlet from the area of Padua, has been well supported by EDX during his career to date, even releasing on the Swiss legend’s PinkStar Records imprint. Working with David Novacek as recently as ‘I Can Make It’ at the tail-end of 2020, Yvvan Back has been in imperious form so far this year, releasing 10 singles already in 2021.
