“This is about a toxic relationship inspired by the music of Charlie Puth. The song came together after watching some music production tutorials online with Charlie Puth and I was inspired by my love of his CHARLIE album, which is now in my Top 5 albums of all time. I get inspired for the direction of a song by my initial idea and so for this I was thinking Charlie Puth, which had me think of the word ‘proof’ and then the direction of the song was there. The opening lyric came to me and with that I created a story of a toxic relationship. It all came very quickly, which is always exciting. Thank you.”

I truly love music played on reverberant objects, emitted through the air, and then captured with a mic. But I was locked on the inside for these particular sessions, tinkering w/ notes & staffs & knobs & virtual instruments. A closet musician, if you will. As such, the first quarter of this century is nearly in the books and all my online songs play from a written score output through synth voices.  I do really work it tho.
