After briefly flirting with switching back to vinyl, I decided to use Traktor Scratch Pro exclusively and ditch the midi-controllers as well as the sync button. This is the first mix I have posted since then and it features many of my older tracks that I have re-discovered and marks my return to a heavier sound.

I got my start in electronic music in the Houston nightclub scene during the mid-eighties, but I didn't start DJing until 1995. I was a regular of the early Houston rave scene and many of my friends were DJs. I have always been a musician of sorts so DJing came naturally to me. I started spinning Techno and Breaks around Houston until I moved to Austin in 1996. Once here I became immersed in the Austin House scene and, with the help of a very talented group of DJs, I became a House DJ. After playing along side greats like: Paul Dyne, Mike C, Thomas Sahs, Brett Johnson, and Rob Vaughn, I have to consider myself lucky to have kept such good company over the years and to still be a proud member of the underground.
