Marc was born in 67 into a family of musicians and started to play the piano at age 3. He stopped studying music at age 15, became a DJ and began touring around Luxembourg for a few years with “The Party Team”…  
He began composing his own songs and, at the age of 19 he made a first studio recording with 2 songs for a 45-rpm-single, which was released in 1989. Both songs did well in the Luxembourgish top 10. The band was called "Al’n Smacks", Smacks being Marc’s DJ name in the 80's and Al standing for Al Ginter, the percussionist with whom he started the project.
Shortly after Marc stopped making music, as he felt it to be incompatible with his private and professional life at that time. He thought : I’ll do it later! Well… later is NOW! 
Over all those years, never released any of his music and didn’t play it outside his living room. 25 years went by when he started re-arranging all his songs as demos. He began searching for musicians in order to play his music live… MARC FINALLY MANAGED TO FIND THE “RIGHT” GUYS. 
Marc Welter’s JOINT BUNCH was born!
After years of rehearsals and gigs, doing some crowdfunding, the recordings started mid 2017.
Early 2022 the album was “in da box”. It took 5 years to get that steam boat into port! The album called “Living like a rainbow” is a unique project, using REAL instruments, making up multiple layers and recording track by track in all kinds of places. 
Over 30 talented musicians participated and the result is an album with 14 original compositions named : LIVING LIKE A RAINBOW! The album was released September 13th 2022 on all platforms and given as a release concert on that same day at the ROCKHAL in Luxembourg Belval. All 30 musicians who participated in the recording sessions were on stage with Marc!

A LIVE SHOW recording was made during the concert and is available as well on all platforms as well as videos on YouTube.
