Jessica joined the Get Physical label earlier this year with her superb ’Every Night’ single, which saw her dive into deep, groove-driven house music and is featured here. This is my first recorded ambient set, played live at the intimate, cozy, safe space of Koala Karnival. Thank you Elle for the invitation and to everyone in attendance for the space to express myself through soundscapes and vibrations. I will forever be grateful for this opportunity. ❤️

This set is a collection of some of the most important pieces of music to me, discovered over the years and crafted into a coherent order over several weeks. My intention in opening this edition of Koala Karnival was to allow attendees to ground through organic and natural sounds, feel through some deeper tones, and travel through some of the spacier explorations. Some of the artists featured here are East Forest, Akal Dub, Nala Sinephro, Nuages, Kora, Warmth, the powerful words of Ram Das, and others who have inspired me in my musical discovery and curation. Many of these songs have been played in my yoga classes for years, so it felt right to play them in my first ambient set. 

Unwind, relax, take a deep breath, and let go. I hope you enjoy listening to this set just as much as I enjoyed playing it.

this recording is from the neuland-stage at Fusion Festival 2018.

for me it was a special highlight to play at neuland. the crowd there always stays truly for the music and not because they have no other choice or the next stage is closed or the next stage is to far away. many people discover the neuland by chance and stay there because they like the sound.these things are not ordinary in a normal club or on a normal open-air. so it’s a great experience for a dj.

housemusic with disco-roots is for me the true shit and i’m happy that i could play a house-set at neuland.

i played a vinyl-only set with a lot of current and classic house tunes which thrill me. and i hope
they will delight you too.
