Roots Factory proudly present another exclusive 7" dubplate. 
In keeping with the previous Roots Factory Dubplate releases there will only be 10 copies of this record ever made. 

The production on this record comes from Tenja Steven. 
Tenja is a well known mic man born in France but operating in Bristol and UK with the band 'Dubheart' , he also is a mic handler for 'Countryman Sound' , and Bristol selector 'Dub boy'.
What is less well known about Tenja is his dubwize and steppers productions. This will be the first time one of Tenja's own dubwize productions is made available on vinyl and we hope its release will help further establish him as a talented riddim producer.
2016 is set to be a big year for Tenja & Dubheart as they step into the studio with stalwart producer 'Mad Professor', keep any eye out for their album dropping in 2016.

The track is titled 'Tera Nova' dub. We would describe it as a deep meditation stepper with sinster tones provides by synth strings and pan pipes. The tracks plays at around 120 bpm and has an immensely powerful bassline, pure fire power for any large soundsystem. 
Currently the tracks is played on dubplate by Tenja, Iration Steppas & Roots Factory.

Semiah est un dubmaker autodidacte issu de la scène underground Rennaise. 
D'abord Selecta, il s'installe dans les Hautes-Alpes en 2003 où il finit par se remettre à la composition musicale en découvrant la MAO. Il construit ses riddims et ses dubs influencé par l'énergie des montagnes.
Passionné de Dub Anglais et tout particulièrement inspiré par des artistes comme "Russ disciples", "Alpha & Omega", "Vibronics", il décide de revenir à ses premiers amours en 2018 pour composer quatre titres stepper aux couleurs mystic de son enfance en Bretagne. C'est en les faisant écouter à ses collègues du "Karabass sound system" qu'il se lance dans la concrétisation de cet Ep.
Il a fait rejouer et recomposer les lignes de guitares avec le guitariste de son groupe "Coloradub". Il a fait intervenir, "Ghilou Bwoy", le trompettiste de "Heckle & Jeckle" et "Samskara", sur une version dub. Il a aussi remixé une de ses premières créations et productions pour l'occasion. Le ton du projet est alors donné par quatre chanteurs qui viennent poser leurs flows et leurs lyrics "conscious".

Stepper Sons est un projet de deux frères producteurs venant de Bordeaux, ayant débuté en 2016. Le groupe est alors composé de deux membres : Balthazar (Hugo) et Cthulhoud (Hadrien).
Tous deux ayant les mêmes influences et les mêmes aspirations à se lancer dans l'électro-dub, ils sortent rapidement un premier EP, "Rise Of The Stepper Sons" sans label et sur soundcloud pour prendre leurs marques dans la scène locale.

Après quelques dates dans des salles bordelaises sous l'aile de l'association Dirty Knees, ils sortent début 2017, un deuxième EP "The Red Warrior Journey", toujours sans label.
De février 2018 à février 2020, Raoultek rejoint le projet. Il en aboutira alors un premier EP labelisé, chez Marée BASS.
Intitulé Nausicaa, cet EP reprend des thèmes du film éponyme de Miyazaki à la sauce Electro Dub.

Ils montent alors un format live multipistes accompagné de synthé, melodica et autres instruments du monde (guimbardes), allant du dub stepper pour finir en steppa trance/raggatek, rejoignant cette nouvelle branche du French Dub.
Indian Vibes, sortant en avril 2020, signe le retour d'un album produit en famille suite au départ de Raoultek du projet.

Indian Vibes est un projet aux influences multiples où dès la fin de l’intro vous ouvrez la porte sur un album façonné de manière progressive, visant à vous faire voyager du dub à la trance ou encore du dubstep à la tribe. Mûri depuis plusieurs mois, cet album s’adresse à tous les amateurs de dub et de bass music voulant découvrir un univers qui ose mêlé plusieurs styles !
