L'artiste ROOTSTEPPA basé à Mulhouse, nous offre son premier LP s'intitulant DUB EVIDENCE.

Du stepper engagé avec des batteries bien digitales et entrainantes. 
Une rencontre avec la chanteuse Toully, une voix mélodieuse et profonde qui fusionne parfaitement avec le morceau Global Inity et sa dub version.
Nous pouvons retrouver le chanteur jamaïcain I-BEL sur les morceaux Inner Riches et Cosmic, deux productions taillées pour les soirées sound system.
Soul Freedom et Dub Heavy Dance, des dub à la Uk Steppa Style avec cette reverbe monumentale. Prépare tes skanking Shoes!!!

Future Nature, nous emmène dans une dub' méditation avec ses instru. bien psychédéliques. La collaboration avec Step High montre l'éclectisme de l'artiste, un dub electro à mélange oriental accompagné d'une guitare électrique.
Nous découvrirons cette magnifique production Semillas de Invierno chantée par Jennifer Paulos agrémenté de mélodica.
Redneck venant de Lyon, mash up di riddim Healing Melody.

Mulhouse-based artist Rootsteppa delivers his first LP, Dub Evidence.

Some engaged stepper with digital and catchy drums. The LP features a dub mix of the track “Global Inity” by the deep and melodic voiced singer Toully. This record also contains collaborations with the Jamaican singer I Bel, “Inner Riches” and “Cosmic”, two tracks perfectly designed for sound system parties. “Soul Freedom” and “Dub Heavy Dance” are two Uk Steppa tunes with a huge reverb, so wear your skanking shoes! 

“Future Nature” brings us onto a meditative dub journey with psychedelic instrumentals. The collaboration with Step High reveals the eclecticism of the producer behind this LP, an oriental electro dub completed by an electric guitar. You’ll also discover the wonderful track “Semillas de Invierno”, singed by Jennifer Paulos and embellished by melodica vibes. Finally, Redneck from Lyon mashes-up some riddim, “Healing Melody”.

Subsquad Prod present the ninth part of our serie of compilations, the CITY SQUAD. Each part presents the dub makers of a city (and its surroundings) through a compilation of exclusive tunes available for free download.

After Bordeaux, Grenoble, Marseille, Lille, Rennes, Dijon/Besançon, Avignon, and "Grand Est", this new part is dedicated to Nantes, and presents 16 producers from this area.

The artwork is realized by Irie Design, the mastering by Subsquad Prod.

Introducing RUST, a new musical project led by Adi Shankara. Hailing from the depths of La Defense (Paris), RUST is a project aimed at pushing Dub to its darkest limits. Through these four high-pressure tracks, this Vol.1 will delve you into a sci-fi, grimy dystopian universe.

RUST’s sound is a fusion of depraved dub and raw industrial techno elements, skillfully mixed with atmospheres laden with sounds inspired by those obscure tunnels that smell garbage, piss and carbonated concrete - where lonely and wandering souls stray like urban ghosts.

In this brutalistic dubtechno, skanks echo like the distant wails of tortured machines, snares reverberate like the clang of metal striking metal, and these raaaAAw basslines will catch you, pulling you along into the abysses of the city where the damned souls and machines are engaged in all sorts of orgies to celebrate the fusion of flesh and technology.

Tainted by the hatred of society and a violence too intense to be contained only in though, RUST is a discharge, a blast of sound that delves into this f-cking modern decadence, the one that drags us into chasms of hatred and perversion. In this radical and uncompromising project, only raw dark and introverted souls will find themselves. So, believe me, you’d better turning away than seek to uncover what lies behind theses layers of granular textures.

Né dans une famille d'artistes aux multiples horizons, Tommy développe très jeune son instinct créatif et underground.
Il intègre une école de Jazz à Paris, d'où il sort diplômé en 2015. Lors de sa première année, il se met à mixer et à produire de la Drum and Bass, puis entre dans une asso Bass Music qui lui donnera l'opportunité de se révéler au grand jour.
Le rêve de faire danser des milliers de personnes se concrétise alors. Son éclectisme et son énergie scénique lui offrent rapidement une place de choix sur les line up parisiens et montrent son envie de partager sa passion avec ferveur.
Il sort plusieurs EP et un LP avant de raccrocher les crampons en 2020 pour se consacrer à sa deuxième passion, la customisation de sneakers. Le covid étant passé, il est temps pour lui de revenir dans le monde de la musique et de vous présenter son premier EP Dub.

Depuis son adolescence, il est fan de Rocksteady et de Hip-Hop, il a façonné cet EP avec son coeur, ses tripes et ses influences. C'est un voyage intemporel entre le Dub Jamaïcain de la fin des années 70, d'High Tone ou encore Brain Damage. Il illustre bien sa recherche d'authenticité avec une touche moderne, mais pas trop !
La création de cet EP s'étale sur pas moins de 3 ans. 
Tout à commencé pendant la période du covid, il était dans le sud de la france avec pas mal de tensions, dues, notamment au contexte. C'est donc dans un climat un peu particulier qu'à débuté la composition de ce projet, qu'il a continué à Paris et terminé à Lyon. Il y eut beaucoup de travail et d'interrogations, cependant, le résultat final reflète parfaitement ce qu'il voulait retranscrire, ou même, exprimer à travers sa musique !

Marée BASS est une association loi 1901 dont le principe est simple : partager et soutenir les musiques à BASS amplifiées ainsi que la culture Sound System.
Depuis 2011 que l'asso existe, elle n'a cessé de croître grâce à un élan de passion qui vise à mettre les producteurs de musiques du genre travaillant en Home Studio sur les devants de la scène. Souvent axée sur le Dub, le Stepper ou encore le Dubstep, Marée BASS flirte aussi avec l'Abstract, le Hip-Hop ou encore la House et l'IDM.
L'éclectisme de l'asso, à l'image de ses fondateurs, génére une force et une volonté de partage relativement unique. De nombreux projets transpirent de cette organisation : Concerts dans les bars (chez nous, chez vous, peu importe !!), Webradio, réalisations de compilations ou encore d'Ep, réalisation d'un blog/site web... Et tout cela grâce à des artistes dans toute la France (et au-delà !!) qui nous font confiance et en qui nous croyons !!
Marée BASS raisonne en terme d'équipe avec ses artistes et tente de proposer les meilleures sauces accoustiques pour un public toujours plus intéréssé...
