This one’s dedicated to my very own for his birthday...welcome to Gemini season yall. Music is a big part of the connectedness I feel with special people in my life. A song is attached to a memory, a place, a moment--some bitter and some sweet, but timeless nonetheless. This mix is not just about romantic love, but of loved ones here & gone forever, near & far--especially in this time of isolation--and of course self love. Some of these jams beg you to move (fast or slow), while another asks us to “consider the people that continue to touch us in ways unseen in a moment when many are experiencing profound solitude” (a note from Dos Santos).
