A piece of Electronic Dance Music is usually described as a production. However, in the case of Seth Schwarz the word composition seems to be just much more appropriate. For many years the multi- instrumentalist dedicated his life to classical music – and that is very noticeable when listening to his highly melodic arrangements. Together with various talents from the 3000Grad environment he created an EP that draws its power from a unique feeling of multidimensional complexity. The interplay with Mollono.Bass is an ever-growing stream of escalating melodies and ecstatic filter sweeps that leaves the dance floor in blissful rapture and the DJ with the question how to keep up this extremely high level of energy. The epic soundscape of Dole & Kom provides the perfect setting for weightless violin entries, and the musical excursion with Bebetta leads through a glistening downpour of hi-hats to a mystic horizon.

Wenn es um elektronische Tanzmusik geht, ist normalerweise von Produktionen die Rede. Aber im Falle von Seth Schwarz ist Komposition einfach die bessere Beschreibung. If you were touring the dancefloors of the world as much as Alec Troniq and Gabriel Vitel have done throughout the last two years, you’d be inevitably becoming “aeronauts”, or, “The Aviating”, so to speak. And that’s precisely the title of their new EP on Broque which, by the way, is their first joint release as we are proud to highlight. But after all their previous joint works and two years of touring together around the world, this seemed the logical next step anyway. Those who are familiar with the swinging yet narrative house music by Alec and Gabriel know best that their works are usually clocked right for the dancefloor. However, on “The Aviation” their songs demonstrate, that, in the first place, they are precisely that: real songs, that tell stories about clubs and festivals, but even more so, about everything before and after the glamourous limelight moments. Stories about being on the road, about airports, hotels and all the emotional states one is living through even more intensely when traveling. And as it is with all good stories: they want to be heard.

Her second effort for the label features 4 quality original tracks, each bringing a different vibe, showing the variation of her production talent. The title track 'Wisdom' is the biggest of the bunch, having a huge impact in the peak moments. 'I'll See You Tonight' is more dark & driving, with a stand out vocal cut. 'Sending Them' is a stripped down, loopy groover and 'Maelstrom' rounds off the EP nicely with a pounding beat, a crazy warped vocal and hard hitting percussive elements.
