On Feb. 8, at the fire department in Fort Davis, hundreds of residents throughout the Big Bend region lined up waiting to receive their first dose of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine. 

In the course of just a few hours, volunteers administered 400 vaccines—one of the largest vaccination efforts so far in the tri-county.
