The Brief: 
#1 of 3 pieces:  Imagine the South of France: sun, rolling hills, vineyards
Sunny, peaceful, happy.
With a little motif or sonic emblem at the end (the same to be used across 3 pieces - also see my pieces "Some Quirky French Jazz" and "A Place of Peace & Hope")

Something Coming_2-02 rough demo

This is my third choral piece, Celtic Choral, written for 8-part choir SSAATTBB.
(Written for unaccompanied voices, this is the voices-only version, i.e. computer ones from my samples libraries. I have also uploaded one with voices and rough guide piano for extra clarity if these don't cut through so well here)

This starts out with a folk feel, with a hint of jazz chords, but all with the Celtic feel of "3 against 2" rhythms. Then going into a middle Celtic triplets section. With the final section having what I'm calling a "Carmina Burana" vibe! (whilst reprising one of the original themes.)

"Sleep Dream Wake Nightmare". Used, split, for the opening & closing credits.  Nursery rhyme genre but with underlying feeling of tension & menace.

Written for the short film "He's So Good With The Baby" - about concealed domestic abuse / coercive relationship.
