Oliver Torr @user-221041418 is a Prague based musician, sound artist and sound designer. His sound revolves around heavy sound design textures, mangled field recordings, new age melodics and processed vocal work. In installation works he focuses on concepts of sound dislocation and multichannel surround sound that uses the physical properties of materials and/or spaces. 

The mix is a collection of tracks from labels and people around the CZ scene, a lot of them are chopped and screwed, so its kind of a sonic collage. It also contains some unreleased stuff, including three reinterpretations of some songs off of my Fragility of Context album, and a soundpiece that was exhibited at Holesovicka Sachta gallery. A whole album of reinterpretations by producers I like will be coming out on cassette later this year.

Before Genius of Time forged their reputation as one of the most impressive hardware acts, not to mention flat-out nicest dudes, in the game, Dorisburg rode solo with music in a similar vein; once they took off, that moniker got put in the cryogenic freezer. Dials were set to 'dethaw' in 2015, and so we arrive now at "Dimension Sculpture". Release nº3 from upstart imprint Myth Music (steered by our very own lovely host-programmer-überdon Baron Castle, fact fans) comes with a tempting edit from label co-founder Lando on the flip, but we needed to let the A-side loose. It's choppy, dark, infectious and guaranteed to melt faces – and quite possibly support beams, too – in packed basements and festival tents across the entire summer, and beyond.

‘BODYGUARD’is a six track EP by DJ, producer and interdisciplinary artist 8ULENTINA. ‘BODYGUARD’ addresses themes of protection and the tension around what it means to feel safe. How do bodies protect each other? How do we deal with that mutual responsibility and trust?

8ULENTINA is a DJ, producer, and interdisciplinary artist based in Oakland, California. 8ULENTINA is the co-founder of Club Chai, an event series, curatorial project, record label and radio show that hybridizes non-western sounds with electronic music. 8ULENTINA’s work focuses on creating diasporic spaces through the use of sound, sculpture, garments and video. Their sets include a wide range of BPMs and genres, piecing together different percussive styles, combining non-western dance music with club, techno, rap and RnB. 8ULENTINA’s debut EP ‘EUCALYPTUS’ was released February 2018 via Club Chai and has a forthcoming EP ‘BODYGUARD’ which will be released March 15th with London based label TT.

Hakuna Kulala presents the debut album from MC Yallah.  Having emerged over the last decade as one of the leading underground MC's in East Africa. Kenyan, but Ugandan born and raised Yallah Gaudencia Mbidde  flows with an urgent and assertive intensity that propels Debmaster's progressive, tense slabs of lo-fi distortion into a new realm East African dance floor classics. Eleven new tracks recorded over the course of 2019 at Boutiq Studios Kampala.

RELEASE DATE: SEPTEMBER 27th.

Yu Yu x Infinite Machine V/A is a collaboration whose result is a compilation of 14 tracks designed for the dance floor; solid, functional and esoteric. This is a selection of tracks produced by Mexican artists involved in the Club movement from different cities in Mexico, all of them with a conceptual and geographical separation, but with common features that synthesize the essence of the national scene.

Definitive proof of the maturity of the Club scene in Mexico, this compilation is born as an initiative by the most important venue in the capital of Mexico: Yu Yu, which joins forces with the pioneering label Infinite Machine to curate this compilation. An avant-garde ensamble of projects which aims to exhibit a shared imagination through the unification of different styles and music genres. All of this comes from the perspective of Yu Yu's resident, Mexico City-based label, Infinite Machine. A label that has a direct correlation with the global club scene.

This effort also has the goal to financially support the artists involved due to the delicate situation we are going through. As they are part of Yu Yu's community, which is unfortunately closed at the moment. Artists involved from the likes of Nico, AAAA, Microhm with worldwide recognition to up and coming artists like Benfika, OMAAR, CNDSD and the current, most fresh national acts like Loris, KOI and El Irreal Veintiuno. Among other key pieces of national electronics, united in this soundscape of volatile frequencies.
