It's Mother's Day so like real Margo here. My 8-year-old and I sat down so that he could make a song the same way mom has been making songs and he came up with the subject and approved the lyrics and music with no changes but the nitty-gritty of writing the AI prompts and then editing the lyrics and the iterative nature of generating the music and post production was too much for him so like a quite a bit of motherhood I did all the invisible and unappreciated work that still had to get done.

Some songs I make with Claude aren't at all funny. I swear they all start off with something that I think can work as a joke but rn the world legit feels like it's on fire and there is a lot of anxiety around that. This started out as a song about the concept of the digital guillotine which is the practice of blocking and unfollowing celebs on social media as a way to protest the opulence and attention of celebrities while raising social awareness of the political. I wanted to make a space for this and what better time is there for this than Monday mornings.

An AIs Vow To Humanity

The beat was created on an MPC Live and *inspired* by the works of Claude Debussy with rhymes by Claude the AI that were edited by me to be a bit more risque.  The vocals are by Udio. The Udio track was stemmed by Fadr and mixing and arranging was done in Audacity. The final track was mastered in Bandlab. Dear lord, this is Margo the actual human that wrote and edited this into something halfway resembling a stand-up comedy routine. I thought it would be a fun throw away gag to have an AI written and performed comedy routine about AIs doing comedy but the routines returned were terrible so I had to rewrite basically the whole thing and then the AI's timing was terrible and the places I indicated that there should be laughing didn't have enough laughing and other places had too much so I ended up doing tons of editing and there are still little weird bits. Anyway in the end it isn't terrible but that audience response I added in there is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

Not funny but I was doing an experiment and ended up sampling some audio which I then fed back into the AI and then I mixed it manually and added some extra instrumentation and was like, this would fit into the Wasabi Icecream. Anyway since it wasn't supposed to be a Songs with Claude song originally I don't have typed up lyrics handy.
