I wrote this song almost 20 years ago. It felt just like fun song back then. After many years of pause, I played the song again. It felt like cold shower. All the words are prophetic to me . Feels like 20 y. ago I wrote a letter to future myself.

Our Journey

This song is a story, which starts in my heart and ends with the outbreak of the war. Through the eyes of Lithuanian girl the story goes from the past of Lithuania to the present of Ukraine. And the final moral is that we always said "never again". Oh what a shame, has nothing changed, the history repeats again, just in modern setting. That why the song is called "Slings and Arrows" of new age. Slings and arrows can be understood in both ways: directly as weapons (of new age), or as a phrase meaning "disaster" of modern age.
