Unsere Nr. 247 kommt heute Christian Kuhlmann, welchen wir seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit aufmerksam verfolgen und auch persönlich kennengelernt haben. Neben seinem aktiven Auflegen, ist er auch Mitglied der legendären Jonny Knüppel Bande aus Berlin. 

Seine Sets bestechen durch eine enorme, hohe Qualität. Wir hatten sogar die Ehre ihn einmal auf unserer Afterhour Sounds Feier mit dabei zu haben und waren schlichtweg begeistert von seinem Gespür für die Crowd und die Knüppelsche Energie auf dem Floor. Gestanden hatte damals übrigens keiner mehr. 
Seine heutige Aufnahme überraschte uns dagegen komplett. Denn das Set ist ganz und gar nicht druckvoll, wie wir es eigentlich vermutet hatten. Ganz im Gegenteil. Die Aufnahme ist tatsächlich sonnenerfüllt von Anfang bis Ende. Wenn wir an einen Gegenstand denken, welchen wir mit dem Mix verbinden können, wäre es definitiv ein wunderschöner, bunter Teppich. Bunt weil es sich so dermaßen vielen Genre widmet, dass man selber nicht mehr weiß, was gerade um einen passiert. Man verliert sich schon in den ersten Minuten seines Podcasts in der Kuhlmanschen Soundwelt der Late-Time Music, die einen dann auch nicht mehr loslässt. Zudem vermitteln die verschiedenen Lieder stets ein positives Gefühl, sorgen in der Folge für viel Leichtigkeit im Sein und ein zufriedenes Lächeln im Gesicht. Ein Moment denn wir fortan nicht mehr missen möchten.  

Wir danken dir vielmals für dieses besondere Set Chris. Umwerfend tiefenergreifend und erleichternd gut. Chapeu.
