So happy to share this mix for so many reasons. 

Front republic is where my journey all started three years ago. On that day, the founder and my friend Anthony Durbano went out on a limb a let me touch the big stage for the first time and since that day there has been no looking back. One of those life-changing moments to which I owe my life to. 

FRP is a microcosm for what accepting our inner beauty is all about. 
It is unapologetically it's self. 
It does is best, and it's best is far from perfect, and that what I love about it. All that really matters about it is that it comes from a place of love, passion and our intention. I hope to show up like this festival does to its participants. Doing my best and simply being myself. 

Coming straight from the burn to this campground was perfect. Most importantly, my creative juices were going crazy. This daytime mix represents my style in many ways. A smorgasbord of different styles and flavours tightly packed into a 90minute musical ride.  The sun came out then the rain & then the sun again, my brain and the weather synced up in a dance of confused bliss.  

Thank you to everyone who put their souls into putting this gathering together. Elle, Tony & Durbz you all rock. Longue vie à l'endroit en avant droite du dance floor ;)

Hailing from Victoria on Canada's west coast, Freya embarked on her DJ journey in 2000. She taught herself to play vinyl on turntables after being deeply inspired by witnessing Sasha and Digweed live. Her sets create a captivating soundtrack for life, taking listeners on a profound musical journey of the mind and soul. Lately, she has been rediscovering her passion for Tech House, Nu Disco Deep House, Techno and Indie Dance, effortlessly weaving tracks that will undoubtedly ignite the dance floor and get people moving to the groove.
