Hearing a grown man cry when his beloved dog has been seized under BSL is one of the saddest sounds in the world.

This song is dedicated to all the men, young and old, who have lost their canine best friends to this cruel and brutal law world wide.

This song was inspired by the documentary ‘Dance of Death’ in honour of our friend Mary Alice Pollard who was associate producer of the film. Each year we will write a song in honour of Mary Alice’s birthday to reflect her lifelong dedication to saving animals and speaking up for their rights. “In bullfighting there is a term called querencia. The querencia is the spot in the ring to which the bull returns. Each bull has a different querencia, but as the bullfight continues, and the animal becomes more threatened, it returns more and more often to his spot.
As he returns to his querencia, he becomes more predictable. And so, in the end, the matador is able to kill the bull because instead of trying something new, the bull returns to what is familiar. His comfort zone.”

Well done to everyone who supported the London Anti-BSL Protest at Westminster, by whatever means they could. In support of the Global Anti BSL Rallies being held.

The heart of a volunteer cannot be defeated and we will never back down and will continue to speak out the truth, regardless.

This law has been killing innocent dogs for 27 years and that's what it's all about!

I Am Anti BSL

A song for Dexter; a beautiful senior pit bull who had endured years of neglect and cruelty until his guardian, Tyler Nasise, adopted him and gave Dexter a life worth living in his new, happy home in USA. 

Tyler told us Dexter had inspired people to adopt a pit bull (one of the most abandoned types of dog in America) and several people had changed their perception of bull breed dogs because of Dexter. 

Sadly Dexter passed away on 9th August 2015 and you can read the emotional goodbye Tyler wrote for his beloved dog and the many messages of support from his friends and fans around the world, on Dexter's facebook page, link below.

Dexter's Song

A song in loving memory of puppy Zeus

Zeus is a tragic victim of Breed Specific Legislation, his short life ended just over a year ago at the age of seven months old.

DDA Watch volunteers supported Zeus's family through the sad days following their painful loss of much loved canine family member Zeus who had never put a paw wrong. The words below from Zeus's mum clearly show the devastation caused by this inherently flawed and failed legislation, a law which is responsible for immense personal heartbreak for those affected.

''Missing my boy so much, still to this day my 6 year old cries about him and my 3 year old talks to a candle thinking he can hear him. BSL is such an evil system, to destroy little babies hearts as well as my own. Love my Zeus, never will we forget because we will always feel the hurt.'' 

DDA Watch assists families whose dogs have been seized and held under BSL and via a telephone helpline service, offer free, confidential advice and support.

As a singer/songwriter I believe some stories must be told and this is our song for puppy Zeus and the many innocent canine victims killed for the way they look.

Breed Specific Legislation is cruel and unfair, no dog should be banned, seized or killed because of looking a certain way. End BSL world wide and make dog law fair.

One thing for sure, it's not made out of good times
You'll see 'em coming, all red coats, high hopes, big bad ways to kill folks,
Scared fox is running...

What are we gonna do
When it comes to me and you?

Well it seems minorities can win
Only if you got powerful friends
Only if your face can fit
And the law of England pays for it
It seems bad men can run amok
If they wanna kill a tiny fox

When justice is a game of luck?

If you want to end BSL don't get mad, get even and help to speak up for the innocent dogs who are restricted and often killed by this unfair and cruel legislation. Every voice counts and one day justice, common sense and compassion will win through.
