First and foremostly, I do not own the rights to the Pokémon brand/logo/original Pokémon themes. I have re-worked some of the the original themes by J. Masuda, Go Ichinose, H. Sato & S. Kageyama to fit the theme of my own Pokémon region concept. I have a lot fo love and respect to the crceators of the Pokémon franchise and wanted to create a new region concept brought to life with my own music compositions.

So, without further ado, welcome Trainers to the Makoto Region. A region located directly north of Johto that is steeped in history dating back to the eons of creation. The region is vast with a giant lake to the east; dotted mountains, rolling fields in its centre; a glorious northern coastline dominated by volcanic activity and in the west an extensive ravine-valley with sandy wastes at its southern end. What will you discover on this grand adventure? What is the premise of RISE and FALL? I have created a Facebook Page on the region, where content is going to be added that could potentially answer that burning question. The region features 169 new Pokémon designs, including a new type, plus 16 regional variants of existing Pokémon. Megas play a crucial role in this adventure and the game concept will feature brand new ones alongside existing ones (Mega Lapras, yes please).

I have had a lot of fun creating a 'taster' music album for the game concept and I truly wish for this music to get out there. I have been inspired by the Pokémon games themselves, the music from Okami, Goemon and even the more recent game Bakeru for inspiration of Japanese-inspired sounds and melodies. I love video game music, I love Pokémon and I love creating music inspired by my idols and creating worlds with music and drawing. I hope you enjoy your taster through the Super Music Selection SOundtrack to this region and game concept idea. I truly hope it brings joy to those who listen to it. Who knows, you may discover something along the way.

It is very easy to be so caught up in the narratives that are being promoted that you forget to step back and, once again, take a look at the bigger picture.  I suspect that the next few months are going to be interesting for all sorts of reasons.  Will things start to make sense again?  What do you think?
