Still riding high on the support for his recent Circus collab with Ki Creighton, new UK talent Kydus immediately returns to the label with a brace of new tracks that have already become proven weapons in the sets of label Yousef and the mighty Carl Cox. 

His latest double-header sees him turn out more fierce grooves and raw funk with a large helping of sun-fuelled piano for good measure. Free Spirit is captivating from the first drum to the last. A rolling groove, almost house, almost techno... A poignant story told that surrounds the listener with uncompromising positive energy, a huge summer moment if there ever was one. Yousef has been nurturing the demo for almost six months, building it from a secret weapon to Circus anthem. 

Cala el Verano see’s Kydus share the load as he continues the house techno hybrid, yet with a lighter touch from the musicianship of Naples born Dj Dep. While the signature chunky groove of the UK producer remain the focus, it’s the additional top line that energises the collaboration with a touch of hedonistic freedom. A real gem.

Gui Boratto is A&R and one of the owners, with his partner and brother Tchorta, of the Brazilian independent label, Megamusic, distributed by Trama.

Quickie From US- "We first discovered Josef Salvats music with his single Hustler about 18 months back.... The song was so authentic and emotional and his voice was alike nothing we had heard. We did some research and found out he was quickly signed and we were sure it was only a matter of time before this guy was doing Sam Smith things. We had always wanted to remix his work but to be quite honest we thought we would write and he would just say no hahah... SO when we heard open Season we fell in love all over again. His unmistakable voice and haunting yet oddly uplifting lyrics... We decided to grow some balls and reach out, well not us we used our manager as cover... Sorta like sending your ugly friend over to find out of a girls single...! To our surprise Josef was totally down and we got the stems As you may have noticed lately we have been on a downtempo kick. Made its the food we've been eating, or weather but we have really enjoyed making this alternative tracks to our usual remix style. For us its important to go left sometimes as experimenting with new styles and sounds really opens up our creativity and thats certainly was the case with this. Anyway we ended up with this wonderful downtempo track that has a lot of organic sounds in it paired with the synths. We sent it over to Salvat and Co. and they loved it! Diynamic’s recent member from the Netherlands released his first whole EP on the Hamburg based label. His debut shows that his production skills have evolved enourmously in the last few months which justifies his constant appearance on Diynamic. The opener is a dreamy track which literally takes you by the hand and leads you through cold winter days. The huge power of its warm melody and the supporting vocals by Terry Shand embrace all kinds of music tastes. Also the dub version of “Take My Hand” shows that Karmon’s productions are nothing but pure beat and sound facility. With “When Dark Becomes Light” Karmon creates a very connecting atmosphere between the name and the track itself. Its relaxed pianotunes and the short but very intense acoustical break unite wonderfully with the melodic basslines. The melody of that track gives you a typical Diynamic earworm, we all love so much. The second b side track “Feel It” is a beautiful composition of both free heavenly melodies and wonderfully arranged synth & basslines, giving its listeners a feeling of total clarity and inner consciousness. - WE FEEL IT!
