I used melody, form and rhythm. for the first par (0-32secs), i used a 23-cowboys piano for my base since its dark and it also has ups and downs like the lines in the corners. for the second part (32-48secs) , i used a23- fire rain piano for my base, since its more soft and it express the way the lines in the border that have different lengths. for the third part ( 48-1.04) i used an even more soft piano and i added a water effect since thats what i intterprect from the blue lines going down. for the last part i did a combo of the first and third part.

Tone Color: What I did was I used a minor key to get a more dark and sad sound so that it matches the Image perfectly. 
Timbre: I used hand percussion drums also to give it a darker sound because they sound deeper than a drum kit. I also used cymbals to recreate the sound of lightning and the sounds of a choir to make an almost ghost-like sound. Harmony: I matched the choir notes and the violin notes to create a harmony that had an overall deep and dark tone to it

The color of the picture really played a big role in the beat and the volume of the song. The art really reminds me of a tree and how it grows bigger. It usually takes time for something like a tree to grow so thats why the tempo is fairly slow.

When I first saw this art piece I took notice of the colors; black, red, gray, and yellow. The way I’m interpreting this art piece is like a story. The beginning of my song starts with really powerful dynamics and funky sounding chords. They represent the background of the painting and all those dark colors and the texture and how I imagine a storm being created and that’s where the red stripes come in like thunder bolting. Then you get the single notes with the same sound effect and they represent how the red stripes are slowly growing and glowing even stronger. The kicks are there to represent the tension to show that something’s about to happen. Then you hear these sustained bells that are harmonizing with the same exact sound but they sound brighter. This represents the color yellow coming into play as positive energy trying to take over all that negativity and evil. Then the bass represents the evil and dark colors trying to fight back and maintain their territory and at the same time you hear the bells but now stronger and replacing what the dark was doing. Then the end came and I didn’t prioritize any specific sound that represented something because I wanted it to end just how the art piece looks with both yellow and red in frame.

The melodies are usually strong and powerful, with a wide range of notes and a strong rhythmic feel. They show these qualities. Pop melodies are usually catchy, repetitive and easy.
