It is about continuity — how a family line persists through cultural shifts, dynastic change, and the steady passing of time.
It explores: resilience on the borderlands, faith in parish communities, the challenge and energy of the Reformation, the growth of scholarship, quiet, generational endurance, and the birth of a future historian and bishop.
