Electronic magic - that is what we call it. The synths are soft but straight, the clap is coming smooth and blows your mind away. Welcome Betoko on Einmusika. We don’t need to introduce the Mexican producer based in London, we just tell you, that the sun is back with these sounds coming up in April. "Phobik" is mystic and wide open - a real summer track without redunant parts. You’ll simply get lost during the break and you’ll need a deep breath after it. Be prepared, "Botox" isn’t that circumspect. It is minimalistic and straight in the beginning but after a few seconds you are back in the good old times of Techno. Less light, more night. The track reminds you of a video game sound, quick and metallic. When it stops, we have "A Long Story Short" with a bleeping start and a warm melody combined with techy synths and a dark backdrop. It’s like a chemical reaction - not easy to get out of your mind and your body. So, that is what we call magic - simply infecting.

Our 8th release sees a remix edition of Tommi Oskari's "Mind Tingle" EP. The original pack featured the title track "Mind Tingle" as well as "Sri Lanka", both receiving high acclaim and support from the industry, making it one of Tommi's most memorable releases to date. 

For "Mind Tingle", we called upon David Granha from Spain. Having released a diverse range of styles from Deep House, Progressive to Techno on prestigious labels like KMS, Einmusika, microCastle, Sudbeat & Particles, to name a few, it's clear that David enjoys making music without boundaries. His remix of "Mind Tingle" is a peak-time powerful techno interpretation with a heavy rumbling low-end, aggressive synths & melodic stabs while giving elements from the original a nod from time to time.

Continuing in his new aggressive yet floor-friendly sound, more notably heard on his recent productions for Classound, microCastle & Dopamine; Juicebox Music label-head Praveen Achary takes the reign on "Sri Lanka". Drawing inspiration from the gorgeous country & the fantastic energy the people gave during his visit early this year, Praveen incorporates both the darker & brighter side with a combination of heavy drums, chunky basslines & icy synth-lines to create a fantastic rework of the original.

Anjunadeep mainstay Jody Wisternoff drops "The Bridge feat. Sian Evans", his first single of 2015 following last Autumn's “Paramour”, a stand out single from the iTunes chart topping ‘Anjunadeep 06’ compilation. 

'The Bridge' is a Wisternoff classic, fusing lush melodic arrangements with dancefloor grooves, with a subtle touch of old school UK sound thrown in for good measure. Sian Evans of Kosheen provides ethereal uplifting vocals. 

Shur-i-kan is on remix duties following his Anjunadeep debut 'My Love' which picked up massive Radio 1 support from Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Danny Howard earlier this year. He roughs up the melodic arrangement in favour of a clubbier, more dancefloor focused direction.

OFF 113 debuts french duo "Melokolektiv" and Darlyn Vlys to the label.

Melokolectiv (Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical), a duo already known for their deep and harmonious beats and Darlyn Vlys (Get Physical, Upon You), head of Sincopat and one of the most prolific tech house luminaries around got together to create a profound deep-tech groove with an indie influence preparing the mood for Forrest adding a catchy vocal, and turning this one into an anthem with a very soul tangling appeal.

For the remix we had the pleasure of winning Berlin's Kiki, who kept the vibe intact adding melodic leads that take the scene complementing a bouncy bassline and using the vocal in a very minimal tasteful way.

The package is completed with a dub version of the original, suited to the darker moments and sets.

Today we have the true pleasure to bring on a new fantastic line-up on the label, as we see the quickly rising talent from Argentina, Sebastian Busto join forces with us here at PHW Elements, with 2 wonderful deep melodic progressive productions. 

The opener, “Bad Man In Heaven” is a heavenly production, filled with really nice melodic arrangements and dreamy chords that defines a lot about Sebastians music, as there is a great progression in his tracks, with new elements coming on to build a warm and atmospheric feel that we so often seek for.

On remix duty for this original, we’ve had the great pleasure to bring on one of the hottest names in the business, as we see the Australian and Melbourne based ace, Gavin Griffin aka GMJ pull the trigger and deliver his “GMJ Heaven On Earth Remix”.

Building his reputation through countless of works on some of the major labels in the business, we of course feel honored to bring him on to our PHW Elements family with this wonderful deep interpretation. It’s a truly tight production, packed with phenomenal grooves and arrangements that definitely is a great variety to the original idea from Sebastian Busto. It’s one for the money, that we can assure you about.

The 2nd original is a different story, though still one more from Mr. Busto that is delivered with a great amount of melodic qualities and warm elements. This one, baptized as “Electronic Subway” has some great potential, and is one that we both hope and feel will be included in a lot of sets for the future.

On remix duty here, we feel proud and happy to see the work of label favorite Subandrio who we now see joining our team. With numerous of releases lately on some massive imprints such as Cid Inc’s Replug Records, Darin Epsilon’s Perspectives Digital and a few together with the one and only Sonic Union and Lowbit Records, he once again proves why he is up there among some of the best.

This one, is totally rebuilt with his phenomenal touch of bringing a deep and absolutely stunning groove to his production. He makes a cool fusion between progressive arrangements with more techno-ish elements to build that strong atmosphere with his rework. Be ready for some nasty grooves!

Sebastian Busto - Bad Man In Heaven (GMJ 'Heaven On Earth' Remix)

Rich Curtis is an artist that needs little introduction to the Proton music cognoscenti. A celebrated promoter, DJ and producer, Curtis has been responsible for bringing names such as Anthony Pappa and Hernan Cattaneo to his native Queensland. A multi-talented musician, Curtis' production work soon hit the headlines as a consistent track record that has seen him feature on Sexonwax, Sudbeat and Tulipa, has provided a steady stream of blue chip releases. A recent collaboration with Argentina's Dark Soul Project for Tim Penner's Slideways imprint has further cemented that reputation.

Work for Proton Music that has included remixes of Colourblock, Soulwerk and, most recently, Silinder, was further lit up by 2013's twin-track "Safety Thirst" EP. Remixed by no lesser light than Dousk, the EP provided a standout moment in an impressive career. Remixing for Particles for the first time, the Rich Curtis rework of GMJ's title track, see "Forgotten Wisdom" take a strong groove-oriented path with dominant kick and full percussive flow. As the track evolves, a beautiful arpeggio that has its roots in the original mix, shimmers and sparkles its ways across nine minutes of joy, juxtaposed with angular spot effects to create a work of class and elegance.

Remixes from two of the industry's finest names in Blood Groove & Kikis and Rich Curtis have provided GMJ with enough ‘wisdom' to ensure their combined work is not ‘forgotten'.

As much as the two best friends agree with each other in general - their musical activities always seem to be too different, too heterogeneous for any mutual project. Back in 2009 i was in search of a home for my first album, it emerged that the only person who helped me to finish/release it was Mr. Joris Voorn. Since then i had the chance to release another album on Green few years later(his own imprint he runs with his partner in crime Edwin Oosterwal). So when i had the opportunity to work on Joris original material, i was really enthusiastic and wanted to make something really special for him, so here’s the lunar result.

Joris Voorn - Sweets For Piano (Ripperton Remix) Green

Mariano was born in 1981 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has always been a fan of music and of different styles, such as AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2, Green Day, Depeche Mode and Moby, just to name a few. His deep love for electronic music started in 1999, firstly caught mostly by trance, but then he shifted his taste to progressive house, his favourite genre, and some tech-house and deep house. He was mainly influenced by Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, John Digweed and DJ Tarkan. Since the beginning of 2010 he has started to mix, appearing in some radioshows as guest, and from July he started his first radioshow at www.onlyclubradio.com.ar (every first Monday of each month at 23:00 hs GMT).
