Maribou State and Pedestrian join forces on a very special WHP13 mix, entitled 'Two Routes To One City'.

"We wanted to create a mix that could act as a road map for anyone travelling from a rural area into the city. We captured some of the ambience that reflects this with various fields recordings, and used music that we thought captured the sights and sounds of the journey. A fitting soundtrack for anyone on route to Warehouse Project on the 1st of November."

Solid Steel in association with Serato (26th February) In Hour 2 we welcome Pedestrian with a mix celebrating the Circadian Rhythms EP, which is the debut release on the Dama Dama label co-founded with Maribou State. Tracks from the EP feature in his mix including the track JNT featuring Maribou State, plus music from Bastien Keb, Bonobo remixed by Falty DL, Gold Panda, Move D, Radiohead and ending with the moving, not to mention rare Mississippi Mud by Black Blood & The Chocolate Pickles. Solid Steel Radio Show 26/2/2016 Hour 2 - Pedestrian

I've been playing some long dj sets recently as part of an All Night Long tour. I have recorded two sessions for you, of nearly 6 hours each, from the London and Amsterdam legs which you can download from here via the mailing list:

The All Night Long tour has given me the opportunity to really explore the music that I love in a live setting, and experiment more than is usually possible when playing with other DJs.

The sets go right through my favourite genres from ambient and post classical to downtempo, house, electronica, techno, glitch and even some of my old drum and bass records when I could get away with it.

It's a New Year and a new logo, and we kick off in suitable style with a mix from Bonobo. One of our former contributors to the acclaimed Solid Steel Mix CD series, Bonobo delivers a mix to ease us into 2012. Music from Seams, Nufrequency and the Ramadanman refix for Jamie Woon sooth any New Year hangovers. Then it's an 808 mix of his track 'We could forever' and we move onto some of his musical highlights from 2011 with tracks from Juk Juk, Fourtet and Falty DL, plus Blawan and Mosca upping the beats and bass.
