marie-claire has recently recorded “dreamland” with Paul Daley at Tuff Gong Studios and has recently completed the rest of her first EP "the dreamland project" at Danny Champagne’s studio with in-house producer Dre. Veteran musicians such as guitarist Earl 'Chinna' Smith and bassist Glen Browne has contributed to this EP. A mix of reggae and funk with operatic influences flavored throughout, it illustrates her growth as an artist and is sure to be a staple in every music lover’s collection. This girl full of gold is a treasure you don’t want to miss!

Marie-Claire Giraud was born on the island of Dominica in The Caribbean, grew up in The Bronx, NYC, studied singing in Rome, Italy and debuted at Carnegie Hall. She has performed on world stages singing, opera, jazz and musical theater at Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center, United Nations, Summerstage, Jazz at Lincoln Center and  HB Studio to name a few.
Marie-Claire is also a composer collaborating on a song cycle with Pulitzer Prize winning composer John Harbison and creating her very own genre where she mixes her operatic vocals with other genres of music. 
A firm believer in giving back Marie-Claire reaches out to under privileged children and young adults in her community of the South Bronx and whenever she tours locally, nationally and internationally with awards from the NAACP, City of New York and New York State Senate.
