About SaiBerlin:

I am personally shaped by my musical biography witch began in the 8oies as a teen with Postpunk and new wave and develloped further with Punkrock, Ska, Reggae, Jungle, Drum 'n Bass and Techno.
After the wall fell I spend many weekends at Berlin’s clubscene …it gave me the space to breeth as a young woman that I needed in that time..Clubs like the Maria am Ostbahnhof, Ostgut/Panoramabar, Tresor, Casino, Deli, Acud, Icon...had a big imprint on me ..and I am really glad to have experienced Berlin during the “Wendezeit” with this improvised and unperfect art oft beeing.
Reggae and Dancehall had also a special influence to me…that feels a little bit strange… cause this shubby shubby -catchy catchy ..it was a little bit too much positivity for me in the beginning….but I found my styles in that, especially with the ruff and heavy basslines of dub and raggamuffin.....

SPACE VIEWX [#77] SaiBerlin [Germany, Dub Techno]

For this album, photographs by Thomas Lutz illustrate a narrative that is recounted with my music. A person - let’s call them „She“ - who leaves her parent’s house to lead an independent life. But then for whatever circumstances, she faces the danger of homelessness.

„She’s Leaving“, the title track, is inspired by an experience at age 17, when I left my parent’s house and carried a box of my things on foot to my new home. On my 38th birthday - the day my grandmother died - I wrote this piano piece.

„Variation I“ features a modified piano with sound built in the granular synthesizer. In „Variation II“ and „III“ this process is continued with addition of instruments and spatial effects.

„Night Tube“ is both a further variation and a reminiscence of „Waking the Witch“ by Kate Bush. Taken from the second side of her „Hounds Of Love“ LP, the concept piece „The Ninth Wave“ tells the story of a girl floating alone on the sea in a life raft. Voices of her family in her fantasy awaken her again and again, saving her from falling asleep, freezing to death and drowning.
In „Night Tube“ I think of a homeless person who nods off in the London subway at night and is startled, again and again, by inner and outer voices. In the metaphorical sense, it’s also about being scared awake in one’s own circumstances. There are currently an estimated 59,000 homeless women in Germany.

„Without A Sound“ closes the album. With this remix of the piano piece „She’s Leaving“ I tried to capture some of the emptiness and quiet vastness of Ryuichi Sakamoto’s music („async“). The trumpet samples come from a nocturnal jam session in the recording studio of the Stuttgart Musikhochschule in which I was involved.

With the additional „Threads of Reflections“ remix*, Belial Pelegrim contributes a unique cinematic soundscape with a generous and gentle atmosphere.

Kicking off 2025 with Kelch 15, Robert comes back to his home label with this low slung groove-laden acid burner. In typical Babicz-style, Heaven is a warm ride through soundscapes and with a slight melancholic feel, its just what you need during a cold winters day, hopeful for the upcoming spring. [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] presents release #66: Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer feat. Ellinda — "Знаки" (“Signs”)

An album where sound becomes a symbol. ZNAKI is the latest work by the Novosibirsk-based duo Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr), in collaboration with vocalist Ellinda from Ufa. Here, the mesmerizing depths of dub techno meet meditative rhythms and poetic lyrics. This is an album of reflections, of messages — where each track acts as a distinct sign, carrying its own meaning. ZNAKI is a journey of nine tracks woven at the edge of genres, emotions, and states of being. It’s the uneasy cosmos of Siberian soundscapes, where clear lines of unspoken words emerge from the frozen skies of Ufa.

“Шератан” (“Sheratan”) opens the album like a guiding light in the void — a distant star calling you forward through hypnotic ripples.
“Эль Натх” (“El Nath”) pulses with the cold heart of distant galaxies — coordinates etched into the star map: sharp, precise, deeply resonant.
“Меланхолия” (“Melancholy”) is the first moment when Ellinda’s voice pierces the haze — an intimate monologue, scattered across deep tones like a shattered mirror of memory.
“Дахиб” (“Dahib”) sounds like the beginning of a ritual — each synth chord and guitar riff a footprint on an unfamiliar path.
“Знаки” (“ZNAKI”), the title track, merges digital and organic, masculine and feminine, synthesis and breath. A song as prophecy.
“Тень” (“Shadow”) hides between the notes, like a secret room in a house made of sound. The spirit of ritual lingers here: thick dub reverberations, deep bass structures, and a sense of motion through the unknown.
“Разбиться” (“To Break”) is the lyrical apex — Ellinda becomes the voice of an inner wind, the pulse of revelation.
“Восход Луны” (“Moonrise”) is the soft light point — a release of tension, where frequencies mellow like smoke.
“Сны Метатрона” (“Metatron’s Dreams”), the final piece, plays like an epilogue from another universe — a cosmic ambient confession by the new project Nebula Alchemists, where the very fabric of sound is freed from time.

A special layer of symbolism emerges from the fact that the album’s release coincides with Ellinda’s birthday. Let this release be a musical wish and a gift — not only for her, but for everyone who knows how to listen between the lines.

ZNAKI is a code from another dimension. An album about things that cannot be spoken but can be heard — if you’re tuned in. Dive into a space of ancient galaxies and distant stars. ZNAKI is a revelation conveyed through sound.

The Other Ambient House

Fictional story: Pacific Salt

"They had no choice, no option. The only thing left for them to do was to sell the salt they took from the sea. For decades, the "Barmenammannamma" had been trapped in their ghetto on Cedric12. No escape, no choice. Since their last uprising against their oppressors, things had only gotten much worse. No electricity, barely any water, little food. In earlier times, at least, they could spend some of their free hours playing a bit of Bubble Bobble together, or listening to historic sound recordings from planet Earth. But that was over now. They had no choice; there was no mercy. Only the sea, and the salt. At least the sun was shining today. A glance toward the horizon. A brief moment of forgetting."

Background story: The Barmenammannamma

Posthumanoid Mutant Species
After the destruction of the peaceful planet "Honzent Prime" and all its inhabitants, caused by the "Barmenammannamma", they were exiled by the Galactic Council to the hostile planet "Cedric12", where they were left only with outdated, non-lethal human technology from the 20th century.

Following an uprising and an attempt to hijack a Galactic Council supply ship, all power-generating equipment was confiscated.

The only source of income for the "Barmenammannamma" is now the extraction of salt through distillation of the seawater from "Cedric12". This salt is accepted by the Galactic Council as a trade currency for food and the most basic medicine.

An end to the exile is currently not in sight.
Most recently, the President of the Galactic Council declared: "Only when all the oceans of Cedric12 have been desalinated will we speak about an end to the exile."

"Cedric12" is composed of 99% water.

MARIE WILHELMINE ANDERS is a wanderer in music. Musically and instrumentally trained since her earliest childhood, she received her first technical training as a sound engineer at GDR television. She played keyboards in a punk band in the East Berlin underground music scene, created field recordings and sound installations, studied classical composition at the University Of The Arts Berlin, and graduated as a music teacher at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart. In Stuttgart she was an active part of the experimental improvisational scene playing piano as well as a set of electronics. There she founded two ensembles, "Unterton" and "Hammerhaus", both of which brought together groove and free-flowing improvised forms from different perspectives. Additionally, she initiated and directed “momentmusik"—a concert series for experimental and improvised music, visual arts, performance and spoken word, which established the connection between her ensembles and the national and international scenes. 

In 2005 she ended her concert activity and moved back to Berlin. Eager for new forms of expression, Marie learned to play the electric bass, and began producing her music using DAWs and publishing it under the pseudonym Marie Wilhelmine Anders.

Marie's conceptual thinking and her craft as a modern classical composer allow her to congenially translate non-musical concepts into a modern electronic language, influenced by techno, electronica, ambient music and drum & bass. Between 2018 and 2023 she released 6 albums, 2 EP’s, over 10 remixes and more than 20 mixes. As a producer, Marie likes to work alone and independently. She is also increasingly in demand as a remixer.

Her best friend writes: "Marie works her way out of all restrictions and experiments with styles and musical directions.Thereby she adapts formal means and creates something very much her own out of it. As always, I am impressed by her accuracy in everything she does. Marie is the secret Phoenix among my friends, who every time after it has turned to ashes, puts on a new and even more splendid plumage. I have great admiration for her consistency, uncompromising artistry, unconditional honesty, absolute fidelity and loyalty. One speaks of the Phoenix as an eternally youthful bird. And he can fly.”
