The Vision:

I have experienced so often that the first expression of a song is the most moving  - the most powerful - capturing the true emotion of the moment.  I am experimenting with trying to "perfect" the first take expressions -through recording practices and regular songwriting -  to capture the highest quality "raw" sound from which I aspire to weave tapestries of clear beauty.

I envision creating albums using individual songs to their best effect based on their individual qualities.  Using some recordings that are 'as is', straight from the forest floor or from my bedside window (as presented here)– some re-recorded in studio – some that focus on voice – some that focus on atmosphere– some that focus on both –some that are re-worked and incorporate instrumental and/or artistic collaboration –and still others that involve mixing and layering of sound.  --- All woven together to manifest a collection of musical LOVE.
