For me, my sound and musical identity has always been in between the soul music that I grew up on and the jazz that I have studied and grown to love. So I wrote this song to say, that it's okay to be a little different. We should embrace our uniqueness and follow through with it.

I'll Go

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Iman Europe releases her debut album, Nami. Nami is Iman's name backwards; a nickname given to her as a child. Ironically enough, Nami also means "wave" in Japanese and "us" in Polish, which plays a part in the thematic direction of the album. In this Los Angeles love story, Iman showcases her sonic versatility and immaculate writing skills, while keeping listeners engaged from start to finish. According to Iman Europe, she "made an album, album", taking the time to skillfully craft a storyline that many listeners can follow and relate to. "This is a story of falling in and out of love with someone, ultimately to find that love within yourself," she says. Tapping into her Creative Writing Bachelor's Degree, Iman also wrote an affirmation book titled Nami Says to accompany the album.
