This fifth EP in the Steve Rachmad re-issue series contains a colorful combination of three tracks from different releases. Side A brings the sought after track 'Teknitron', originally released on his 3rd EP, originally released under his short-lived alias Black Scorpion back in 1995. 'Transpose' is taken from his first Sterac EP from 1994, while the last tracks 'Alastria' comes from his second album Thera, originally released in 1998. All tracks are re-mastered of course.

Steve Rachmad’s richly melodic strain of techno has resulted in a huge body of work he has been growing since the early 90s. His sound is the perfect distillation of machine soul – dubby atmospherics and crisp, danceable dynamics balanced in perfect unison. Amsterdam’s Delsin Records gathers together some of the Dutch techno figurehead’s most important, sought-after works in a new EP series, all remastered from the original DAT tapes from Steve’s archives. Out soon! This playlist previews the reissue of one of Amsterdam’s most respected producers Steve Rachmad aka Sterac 's essential 1996 Detroit techno classic. Remastered and available with full color artwork.

Sterac is considered an excellent producer and he is one of the Dutch pioneers of Detroit techno, producing this absolute classic back in 1996. On the A side you'll find Osirion, a track built on a classic drumloop layered with Rachmad style arppegiators and euphoric strings. The B side features a more abstract 909 Detroit infused loop, full of heavy synths and percussion. Both tracks have stood the test of time and still sound fresh as ever.

Marc Romboy's Systematic Recordings look to inspire once again with the release of an exclusive 'Mini-Album" from the Swiss producer, Ripperton. 

Following the huge success of "Niwa", his album for Joris Voorn's Green imprint and riding the constant wave of support for his productions on Music Man, Freerange, CLR, Versatile and of course his very own Perspectiv imprint, Ripperton looks to continue and further his reign as one of the most respected producers in the business with the release of "Lost In Colours." 

The Mini-Album opens with four new original Ripperton productions. "Lost In Colors (Tobias Welcome Song)" with its tear-like droplets and orchestral melody is the perfect opening act. The smooth vocal and warm acid line of "I Haven't Seen Much" follows, backed by the epic techno outing that is "Farraway." The originals are rounded off with the dramatic percussive cut, "Flume."

Originally released on vinyl by R&S in 1994, ‘Meditation Will Manifest’ was re-earthed in 2016 by Nina Kraviz and Ricardo Villalobos, becoming a secret weapon on dancefloors 22 years after its original release. On December 16, ‘Meditation Will Manifest’ gets its first digital release on R&S.
 
Josh Wink has always been ahead of musical trends and walks his own path in dance music. From a young age Wink was exposed to different mysticism and consciousness philosophies. “It wasn’t a big, popular or trendy thing to do at the time, but I was 14 and just did what my mother did… Releasing tracks like ‘Meditation Will Manifest’ and ‘Higher States of Consciousness’, people looked at me as being this deeply profound spiritual guy, but I never really thought about it in that way, even though I’m really into repetitive, transcendental and meditative rhythms.
