Don Son is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Basel, Switzerland. Known for his combination of deepness, spherical landscapes, and driving grooves in his music, he’s a passionate unique master of vibes. Often mixed with ethnic and hypnotic elements, his profound sense of harmonics and functionality is on point, whenever and wherever he’s DJing. The way he understands music and how he translates it into the story he wants to tell makes him different. he has a unique feeling of balance between individuality, drive, and emotions, where the latter is what drives him primarily.
Nowadays he’s successfully playing in well-known venues and festivals all over Europe and North Africa, and he ventures to get beyond the edge to share his love and creativity with the world.

Als ich nach Monaten der Vorbereitungszeit das erste Mal am Donnerstag Abend in der Saloppen Katatonie stand und sie live&in Farbe in Betrieb gesehen habe bin ich vor Freude in Tränen ausgebrochen und @kotterzuer Basti um den Hals gefallen. Es war unglaublich zu sehen, wie alles, was wir an Liebe und Arbeit in dieses Projekt gesteckt haben auf einmal auf Rädern steht und fährt....und wieeeeeee Oida!!! hahahaa.... als ich dann am Ende des Festivals auch noch in dieser total verrückten Saloppen spielen durfte war ich auf jeden Fall ziemlich happy.

Ich bin überglücklich über das, was wir geschafft und geschaffen haben und möchte einfach nur Danke dafür sagen dass wir gemeinsam diese Utopie zur Realität gemacht haben!

 Es war ultra magisch!!!

Viel Spaß beim Anhören vom Set und in Erinnerungen schwelgen!

Spanish-bred Mario Bazouri grew up listening to everything from Michael Jackson to George Michael to
Prince.
He discovered electronic music in the early 90s on the South Coast of Spain when working as a PR
at a Spanish disco bar that played Spanish Bacalao (Techno).
He moved to Dubai and helped define the club scene by organizing and promoting “DEEP NIGHTS” which welcomed Danny Tenaglia, Armand Van Helden, John Digweed, Erick Morillo, Pete Tong and many more to the city. Today apart from being a highly rated Black Belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Practitioner and Competitor, he’s now on the other side of the ticket line, as a DJ & Producer and has become a frequent player in some of Dubai’s finest underground parties, earning himself a residency in Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE, Iris Dubai, Gate Two, Moe’s on the Fifth, Playa Pacha Dubai, The Hatch Dubai, Disconekt Dubai, Playa Padre Marbella & Momento Club Marbella as well as a weekly show on Ibiza Global Radio UAE.
Inspired by Bedouin, Trikk, Dixon, Santiago Garcia, &ME, Made by Pete & Patrice Baumel just to name a few, his sound is shot through with a rock-solid groove that consists of infectious percussions, Ethnic vibes and dark melodic synths.
Music Production came next where he signed to renowned record labels such as Sudam Recordings, Redolent, Life in Colour, Exotic Refreshment, Lump Records, Kośa, Voyeur Music, Natura Viva, Sony Music Entertainment, Ma’ana Music and many more.
He has also released his first sample pack on Exotic Refreshment to help new and upcoming producers with music production.
Putting lots of focus on his productions, he is expecting many releases in the coming year.
During his career behind the decks, he’s warmed up and shared the decks with many International Underground Talents.
