Mario D’Andreta 

Mario D’Andreta lives and works in Ancona, Italy. 
His approach to the sound experience is based on the field recordings of cities and other human places, from the perspective of acoustic ecology. 
His attention is focused on the relationship between human soundscapes and contemporary social changes. 
He usually presents his compositions in an acousmatic performance context, aiming to engage the audience into a deep listening experience of natural and transformed environmental sounds. 

From 2004 he has participated with soundscapes compositions, acousmatic pieces and electroacoustic improvisations to several musical events such as: “Sensoralia” (Rome, Italy), FKL Forum Klanglandschaft Symposium 2007 (Basel, Switzerland) and 2009 (St. Polten, Austria),  ABPFIFF - “Fischio di Partenza”, Contemporary Music Festival of Bozen (Italy), “Spazio Suono” (Rome, Italy), IXEM Doves Day (Palermo, Italy), Spamming Festival (Macerata, Italy), Map of Moods (Massa Lombarda, Italy), Scatole Sonore (Rome, Italy), Tune up festival (Artena, Italy), the Natural History Museum of Sound (Berlin, Germany).
