An experiment,
with performing 
Johann Sebastian Bach's
Well Tempered Clavier 1 and 2,
on four N.E.D. Synclaviers, 
each set to a different instrument, 
Clavier, Harpsichord, Organ, and Piano. 

I had the idea for this 
about 40 years ago. 

Until now, 
I did not have the necessary tools

Inspired by, and a tribute to 
the brilliance of Wendy Carlos.

Following the huge success of the album "Belaaks 1” released back in 2009, and after receiving the “Platinum Disc” award from “Virgin Middle East” for the sweeping successes that the 1st installation achieved, the Lebanese Composer and arranger Jean Marie Riachi returns with his 2nd follow-up “Belaaks 2”.

The album embodies a festival of popular world music coupled with a selection of sounds that are fused with oriental flavors.
Jean-Marie has delicately worked his magic to bring to life this masterpiece of musical art.

“Belaaks 2” received an award from The Akademia Music Award for the best funk/ fusion album.
