Shady Cicada - Hotheaded

This was a song I worked on a while ago and struggled a lot with. I made it on my laptop before I switched to my computer but lost the master along the way.

As per usual, the mixing isn't very good and now I can't really do anything to adjust it, like with the hats and overall volume.

Anyway. Just something I made. Dunno what genre or anything this would be considered. 

This is like... 9 months old lol

Anyway. Any feedback is welcome.

This song is probably the grooviest of all the level themes. I drew inspiration from the blues scale while writing this, but I made sure not to lose sight of the progressive rock vibe of the game. This song also includes a decent amount of chiptune sections that I made in Famitracker, and I had a lot of fun messing around with the panning tool while putting them in. Coupled with the lo-fi voice sample, this song is packed full of retro vibes.
