Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Podcast Series!

Throughout the years, trustless (@trustlessofficial) has evolved into a music-selector with an ear for the special & unknown. With a broad music catalogue and an open mind for various electronic genres, he's build a growing community, which spread throughout the globe since 2014. 
4 years later the community has grown into a Burning Man camp, an intimate festival, a beloved Youtube Channel and an uprising music label with the name of 'Nie Wieder Schlafen' (Never Sleep Again) @niewiederschlafen.

As the label's A&R, trustless has also brought together an incredible roster of truly talented artists, who surprise the underground scene with fresh & unique music. As a producer himself, he recently started a new musical project with Nie Wieder Schlafen's homegrown talent Quatri, which will explore the sound of mysterious & broad atmospheres.

Today he puts on his magical gloves, to show off a collection of dreamful productions, including a few unreleased jams from family-members of Nie Wieder Schlafen as well as beloved music from recent years.

We are happy to welcome him to our family, and we hope you enjoy this episode as much as we do!

A little Radioshow hosted by trustless, Co-founder of german music label "Nie Wieder Schlafen". The best place to discover upcoming music from friends & family-members of the label as well as their own future releases.

Episode 11 is filled with truly wonderful house and Lo-fi jams. I really felt like doing a laid-back and subtle mix for the start of the spring. This is the first time I tried to ignore my usual concept of showing new music of the label and current favourites of mine, but rather a mix of old and new music. Of course I couldn't resist to include some forthcoming tracks, including an unreleased NWS tune. They did fit the vibe, so it wasn*t forced at all. Lookout for an 100% unreleased NWS material mix by myself, coming very soon! I couldn't be more excited to tease you with some lovely music.

Canopy Sounds returns this with our good friend, trustless.

Few can rival this Munich based producer and DJ's tender and careful ear for introspective soundscapes that pair with soft and thunderous grooves alike. As one of the founders of the beloved Nie Wieder Schlafen label and music collective, trustless and his friends yearned for something different than the music that was around them early in 2014. While waiting for a David August performance during the wee hours of the morning, Steppi and his crew knew they could not sleep, hence the meaning of NWS (Never Sleep Again). This whimsical story would become the root for what was to become one of the most captivating and inspiring underground deep house collectives around. Since then, the ideas has moved from festival fields, to T-Shirts, Youtube and finally a juggernaut label with releases from artists including trustless himself, Quatri, Modulo, Padre, Sam Goku, Kotu, Jayden Klight, Timo Chinala, Varaz and more.

The idea of being "trustless" evokes feelings of having your head a bit up in the clouds. It embraces uncertainty but with an excitement for what might be uncovered. The music of the NWS crew aims to create atmospheres where a distinct emotion isn't so clear. In our current global context we are all asked to embrace the unknown, however we embark on this journey together, not alone. We hope you can find some solace in this special selection of tunes from trustless...
