Recorded thru some of the most rare and sought after analog equipment such as Quad Eight MM-310b preamps straight out of the Motown Sunrise console from 1973, Telefunken V72 Tube Preamps, RCA Bx 44 Ribbon mic, KM86 mics, Electrovoice 635A all processed thru vintage reverbs like the EMT 140 Plate Reverb the Polyphonic Studio Live Room. You can hear the texture, warmth and authenticity in every vocal take as if it were recorded in the environment of an early to late 70s studio.

The Modern Odyssey Vol.2 is a collection of 10 Original samples that journey into the space of Jazz, Psychedelic, Fusion and Soul recordings of the early 1970s era. All loops were processed, chopped & manipulated in a modern context that gives immediate inspiration and makes it easy for any producer to just drop in any DAW and start cookin up. This has been my favorite series on the library thus far because it gives me the freedom to take exclusive Jazz, Soul or R&B compositions I've made in the past and explore new ways of processing & manipulating them in ways that create unique tones, pitches and rhythms that can't be achieved thru analog equipment. Exploring Dissonance contains 20 Jazz piano loops, 19 Dissonant piano textures and 2 full length tutorials on Jazz Piano Theory and texture. This pack highlights dissonant chord progressions mixed with strong melodic leads lines, inspired from what you might hear from an Italian or French film from the early 1970s. All piano parts were recorded on a Yamaha C7 Grand Piano using a stereo pair of Coles 4038 mics, Sony C37a and a Neumann U47 fet thru a Trident A-Range Console.
