After the ghostly EP 'Skin and Bone', produced alongside partner in crime Marlon Hoffstadt, HRRSN is back on Stil vor Talent with a summer-ready arsenal of ear-catching tunes.
The kickoff track 'Foolish''s overtly nostalgic vocal hook evokes a sunset scene built up through hypnotic synths just before breaking down into a full-on immersive dance craze. Picking up the pace with zippy synths, Koletzki & Schwind twist the track into a late night trance infused anthem.
'Modest Monuments' takes us on another misty sounding journey backed up by a haunting bass-line and spheric vocals. On 'You Would Not Believe' we delve deeper into the estival ambience, with a boost of rolling tribal vocals highlighting the pulsating big-room bass, while Lars Moston's remix takes it to the other end of the spectrum, stealing the spotlight with trumpet instilled synths that overshadow the vocals.

Swiss born but Berlin based David Keno is next up on the always excellent Mother label. Once more this crew have signed up a producer who knows how to get a floor sweaty and he does so across two fine productions. It is just the latest in a long line of great release for Keno, who has been in the game a decade and has churned out many club hits, been remixed by Trentemoller and also runs his own label. Stil Vor Talent, Get Physical, Poker Flat and more also relate his wares but few are as fine as this new one.

Play is a fun track that locks you in a tense build up before letting the pressure go with big drums, fluid wooden hits and nasty blasts of sub bass. It is pure house music for good times, and our debut transmission 'Youth' follows the same arc - playing with you to start with then letting you go with a big drop that oozes bass and soulful synth stabs. Both tracks are expertly designed for DJs and dancers alike.

Fideles and Kellerkind cross paths into a split EP consisting of six original tracks showcasing their individual yet complemental production styles.

Haptic’s murmuring vocals are at the center of Vitamins, a playful exploration of fluid atmospherics.  A clanging bassline provides the backdrop for whirlwinding synths, as the vocals build up an enveloping, dance-inducing tension. Wave Echoes kicks in lively from the get go: a relentless, steady percussion tied into a wandering baseline are the constant mainstays. The melody slowly develops as a fuzzy wandering pad adds another dimension, equally spacious as it is heavy.

Carving light with synth sweeps and spacious reverb, Illumino takes shape as a deep tech introspection. Accented with whirring bits and maintaining an elated undertone, it effectively embodies the ever-ascending, never-releasing groove that’s perfect for peak time hours.

Kellerkind steps up to the plate with Subzero, a slice of cavernous dub tech. Breathy vocals and sparse ethereal elements set a dreamy mood. Underlined by smooth piano chords, the vocal develops into a full fledged hymn that is both emotive and mesmerising. For his second take, the Swiss producer embarks on a techno tinged journey. Opting for distorted synths and a stomping bassline, he aptly crafts a near dungeon-like atmosphere only sweetened by a lush female vocal. Teaming up with Sven, they offer up Shakti Pan, a meeting point between tribal infused percussion and deep-set riffs. Hollowed out drums and bells chimes touch on chorus vocals and manage to create a highly immersive experience, rounding off the release on an uplifting note.
