Martin Vice & Michael Banel joined forces in 2014 to form a new DJ / Production concept. Their self titled collaboration MVMB delivers a slick and original new sound that effortlessly explores the boundaries of techno.

After the success of their first studio album “The Sleeper Must Awaken” (2016), MVMB have continued their journey into the cross-border sphere of techno, and have finally completed their much-awaited second album “Phase 01”. Transitioning further into techno soundscapes while maintaining colourful hints of trance elements, the new album delivers a well crafted, intelligent and deep driving journey into sound.

Minstrel reveals the sequel of his latest single 'Superiority', titled 'Singularis', in the series that comes to life as a trilogy. Brought down into deeper territories in the first track, 'Singularis' goes even deeper, traveling into an interstellar dark journey, bringing hypnotic energy to the dance floor by combining shimmering basslines and high energy drums with gothic vocals morphing in and out of focus.

Minstrel’s core lies within his passion to reinterpret the experimentalism of the Renaissance period with his music and visuality. Proving this passion, the artwork is again designed by Minstrel himself. It gets the inspiration from the 45-year-old artist Luciano Garbati’s depictions of Medusa sculpture, which he reflects on his ideal Medusa story that is contrary to Benvenuto Cellini’s famous Perseus with the Head of Medusa statue sitting in the Piazza della Signoria in Florence, Italy.
Medusa’s victory as interpreted in Garbati’s work is transformed into the artwork of “Singularis” to raise awareness of the increasing violence against women in the world.
The Istanbul-based producer continues to draw a rising profile through his ability to experiment and storytelling through mythological inversions. Since his debut, he has gone on to share stages and DJ booths with the likes of Spektre, Adana Twins, Wehbba, Hidden Empire, and shows like Sonance Festival while his production skills steadily win over fans worldwide.
