Die Berlinerinnen Clara und Clara gingen zusammen zur Schule, wohnen in einer WG und tanzen seit Jahren miteinander auf Raves und Festivals. Nach langjähriger Feierei wollten sie auch mal auf der anderen Seite der Decks stehen und begannen so ihren Sound zu suchen - und zu finden! Sie spielen einen bunten Mix aus House und Techno mit dumpfen und euphorischen, groovigen und trashigen bis hin zu düsteren und treibenden Klängen.
Vor einem Jahr kauften sie zum Trotz ihrer Nachbarn ihr erstes Equipment und beschallten zuerst die eigenen vier Wände und später dann b2b als C2C Wälder, Wiesen und Bunker. Als Mitglieder des Bambule-Kollektivs mischen sie auf deren Veranstaltungen nicht nur als Artists, sondern auch als Organisatorinnen mit.

INTERVIEW:
1. Ihr legt ja noch ganz frisch zusammen auf richtig? Was macht ihr den eigentlich, wenn ihr gerade nicht auflegt? 
C2C: Genau, vor eineinhalb Jahren haben wir mit dem Auflegen angefangen. Neben unserem Studium verfolgen wir auch mehrere Projekte mit unserem Bambule-Kollektiv. Aktuell hosten wir mit zwei weiteren Kollektiven eine Freifläche des Draussenstadt-Projektes der Clubcommission und organisieren Tanzveranstaltungen in dem Anomalie Art Club.

2. Wann habt ihr elektronische Musik für euch entdeckt? 
C2C: Vor 8 Jahren gingen wir oft ins R19, anfangs vor allem für das kostenlose Essen, später auch für die Musik. So richtig begeistert hat sie uns dann während der regelmäßigen Tanzabende im Mensch Meier.

3. Wie kommt es zu eurem Namen? 
C2C: Wir heißen beide Clara und da hat sich der Name als b2b-Duo einfach angeboten.

4. Habt ihr euch auf dem Floor kennengelernt oder wie entstand euer Duo?
C2C: Wir kennen uns schon seit Schulzeiten und haben ab da an gern gemeinsam das Tanzbein auf den Floors geschwungen. Mittlerweile wohnen wir schon seit 4 Jahren zusammen in einer WG. 

5. Wie habt ihr die Pandemie bisher überstanden?
C2C: Wir haben ja kurz vor der Pandemie mit dem Auflegen angefangen. Das Musikmachen hat uns dann viele schöne Abende in der WG und einen willkommenen Ausgleich zu der bedrückenden Situation ermöglicht.

6. Was würdet ihr euch wünschen, soll in der Clubszene anders laufen? 
C2C: Es ist richtig schön zu sehen, dass viele Organisierende darauf achten, dass auch weibliche DJ’s in das Line-Up integriert sind. Trotzdem entstehen leider manchmal auch Situationen, in denen wir uns als weibliche DJ’s mehr durchsetzen müssen, um akzeptiert zu werden. Die Szene ist leider immer noch nicht ganz frei von Vorurteilen und männlicher Dominanz. Deshalb wünschen wir uns, dass diese Probleme gemeinsam diskutiert und gelöst werden.

7. Habt ihr bestimmte Ziele für eure DJ Laufbahn? 
C2C: Ein großer Traum von uns wäre einmal auf der Fusion zu spielen und wie @andhim in ihrem Set „Hallo Fusion, es gibt Freibier!“ zu rufen.

Wenn Träume wahr werden!
Mein erstes Fusion Set ist nun online und ich kann es immer noch nicht ganz glauben...
Was für eine Bühne, was für ein tolles Publikum und was für tolle Menschen um mich herum. Danke für all die Unterstützung und die Energie, da musste ich doch glatt heulen vor Glück am Ende!

endlich ist es wieder so weit! Die Tektonische Plattenverschiebung released wieder Sets, Baby. Und was ein Feuerteufel es geworden ist, hau den Lukas! Danke Killer Kilian und Engelsgleich Eva für die wunderschöne Chance und Einladung auf das schönste Rave-Castle, das 2025 zu bieten hat. Das Set ist meinem Liveset mit ein paar kleinen Korrekturen komplett nachgeschraubt für den ultimativen Kamin-Rave Hörgenuss.

Having found an early musical calling with his training in piano, trombone and  working as a choirmaster in his home town of Bergisch Gladbach, it was his darker electronic throb of the techno soundsystem that eventually drew Roland M. Dill in to its clutches. Having first drawn influence from the Detroit school of techno, Roland went not to study the music of Jeff Mills, Petar Dundov, Charles Siegling and others, crafting his own productions on a bank of analogue of synthesizers and computer software. 

Roland's first signing was to Trapez Ltd back in 2008. A label that has become a regular and special home for his work over the years. Having proved himself to be a distinctive composer, thanks to his almost exclusive use of analogue instruments, Roland has also gone on to lend his remix talents to the work for Minilogue, Extrawelt and Depeche Mode. 

Roland's music is built upon strong rhythms. Ordered structures of minimalism interspersed with wild samples, FX and sequential bass harmonies. A techno kaleidoscope for his listeners to lose themselves in. Herzblut boss Stephan Bodzin has been a long time fan of Roland's work and has chased long and hard to sign him to the label. Today we hear the fruits of that persistence as Roland presents his debut ep for the label, "Suite In G Sharp." 

A five track selection that delves deep into the sound of Dill. And mean deep. Whilst the housier electronic groove of "Rhythm Of Straight Lines" and the creepy sci-fi sounds of "Tacit Blue" open the release, its the stripped beats and warm uplifting synths of "The Asgard Range" that begins the journey south.  With the final two cuts "Moments Notice" and "Destination Muscatine", Roland soothes the soul with beautiful transcendental trips that leave us wanting more.
