The Tel-Aviv-based producer, Amir Telem displays in his brand new EP two splendid originals full of exquisite melodic electronic sounds which range from Deep House to Techno. First, Amir Telem is serving us 'Born Again', exhibiting a pounding baseline, impeccable heart-warming synth riffs, and profound spiritual vocals which will elevate your spirit far away, deep into the cosmos. Following up next, we have the honor to welcome Marc DePulse to Mau House with his mesmerizing interpretation of the EP theme track. In his remix, the Leipzig-based producer kept the original's essentials, lowered the bpm a bit, and added his magical and powerful touch to give it an extremely pleasurable deep perspective. Coming up next is Amir Telem's collab with the Zürich-based producer, Don Son - 'Feel Like Myself'. A peak time trip that oozes groovy, obscure, and intoxicating melodies that collide with warm and fabulous vocals & synth riffs, forming a masterfully crafted peak time weapon. Next, we have the pleasure to welcome Ran Salman to our label. The Tel Aviv-based producer is serving us an extremely pleasurable instrumental remix for the EP theme track, with its rounded baseline, deep melancholic synth riffs, and a pinch of acidic sounds, which create a fascinating clubby adventure. Last but not least we are happy to welcome to Mau House the Istanbul-based producer Stefan Addo, which is closing the EP with his remix for Amir Telem & Don Son's Feel Like Myself'. In his interpretation, Stefan Addo is exhibiting a cinematic perspective for the EP theme track, with his punchy baseline, dreamy Xylophone sounds, warm dramatic synth riffs fused with fresh & misty electronic sounds.

After an incredible year from which Meanwhile continued to release a panoply of stellar music, GMJ and Matter's imprint begins 2022 in scintillating fashion. Now, with a quarter century of releases under its belt, Matter returns to the label with his second original EP in the shape of the 3-track, "Banksia".

After an incredible 2021, culminating with the November release of his debut "Starchild" album on Meanwhile Horizons, numerous collaborations with production partner in crime, GMJ, and over 1 million Spotify streams, the Melbourne based DJ and producer begins the year with a musical vignette of the highest quality.

Opening proceedings, the title track is a glorious piece of trademark progressive house from the Matter production studio. As mesmerising as it is powerful, an immaculately syncopated percussive and melodic groove combine in joyous harmony as a repeated motif waxes and wanes with filtered ease, backed by thumping beat and rumbling bassline. Huge white-noise swells herald new sonic phases as "Banksia" builds to a powerful crescendo post-breakdown in a spine-tingling second half.

Continuing the deep rolling groove of its predecessor, a seismic kick and head-shaking bass pattern form the foundations for "Burnout". A trademark swathe of filtered synth motifs soon come to the fore amongst waves of gently pulsing white-noise risers, before an Underworld-esque breakdown of bassline prowess and hands-in-the-air synths explode into a third movement. Containing all the characteristics for a club-friendly stormer, "Burnout" is sure to fill festival floors over the antipodean summer.

The third track sees "Magic Rooms" complete the triptych with its shimmering arp and swung hi-hats. Working together in perfect synchronicity, a bassline sequence adds subtle urgency and low-end power before an evolving suite of synth elements combines in a magical symphony of sound that rises and falls in counterpoint glory. A characteristic bevy of reverb-soaked white-noise effects add to the sonic dynamism as the track opens up post-breakdown into a stunning arrangement of production know-how and sonic mastery.

A career that continues to blossom with each successive release, "Banksia" finds Matter coming into bloom once again with an iridescent pattern of musical verve.

La Vue - Tabiat (Harmonious Remix) [3rd Avenue]

'Agnosia Black continues a strong start to the year with a new single from label boss DJ Choopie and Golan Zocher. The former, based in Israel, lays claim to over two decades of production work and releases via long-standing imprints such as Bedrock and Yoshitoshi. Meanwhile, Colombian born, Israel based artist Golan Zocher has enjoyed similar success across his five-year career, landing releases via Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Beatfreak and Clubsonica Records. Having begun the year with the well-received 'Fine Twist' single and a contribution to the Sol Selectas 'Global Entry 3' collection, Choopie and Golan continue to build on their creative synergy with a new single entitled 'Pinko', alongside a remix from Analog Jungs.'
