M. Wyllie’s songs sit comfortable and sparse, a project born of years of growing and trimming. Songwriter Marius reaches for his guitars, drums, synth and voice to try to unfold and reveal.  Once drumming for Brisbane indie-slackers, Sunny Flynn Hugo, he has now built his own store of clever, anti-pop songs - melancholic, resolute and with quiet cheek. The collection grew larger and more demanding until, bolstered with synthetic and backyard sounds, the first batch is ready; you can dance and cry at once.
