My dear tribe, 
many of you have asked me to upload my last Ecstatic Dance Set. Here you go (or dance). I named it „Sonnenkind“ (Child of the Sun) which is a German expression for a person which is most of the time in connection with their positive believes about oneself, others and the world, and takes action from this state of mind. It is also is a state of great inner abundance and resourcefulness.   
I really like this metaphor and it is also a friendly reminder to myself (and maybe you), to always check in with yourself before I act or make a decision from which place inside me my motivation comes from. 

I wish to you having a really nice journey with this set. It starts very calm, a bit melancholic (the first half you also can just relax to it), but constantly builds up the energy as you will realize when you feel the urgent need to move your body. It has also a cheeky note, which mainly my german speaking friends will understand. ;)

Chillout, dance and embrace your Sonnenkind.

Deep Rest Mix

It was a dream of mine for a very long time to play the first Ecstatic Dance at the iconic Fusion Festival. Now we could finally make it happen. This is one of my favorite sets. I built two waves but we also did a high energy live peak with my band Aerodice (Beatbox and Didgeridoo) in the middle of the set and a life gong chillout with gongmaster Hermann Herdt in the end, framed by a profound opening and closing ceremony to set up a safe space.  

We asked the people to come as sober as possible (the Fusion is everything but not a sober space per se) and did the dance on Saturday morning in the conTent which was a perfect choice. The dance energy on the fully packed floor was incredibly beautiful from very deep, connective and vulnerable states to unbelievable collective eruptions of joy and happiness and primal force. I will never forget this great experience. Big thanks to my whole team, colleagues, and the Fusion Festival for opening up the space for our magic.

Die SOLNOX EMERGENZ war ein Ecstatic Dance Tribal Special von Ecstatic Dance Hamburg in der ehrwürdigen JazzHall an der Alster. Eine Emergenz ist etwas, das aus der Summe der Teile eines Ganzen oder eines Systems hervorgeht. Bewusstsein ist ein gutes Beispiel hierfür oder das, was einen Vogelschwarm lenkt. Eine kollektive, nicht sicht- oder messbare Verbundenheit der Individuen, ebenso wie es beim gemeinsamen Tanz geschieht und idealerweise das Einzelbewusstsein im Kollektiven aufgeht. Diese Verbundenheit ist Liebe und pures Glück. 

Die SOLNOX EMERGENZ

SOLNOX, from Hamburg, Germany, is an extraordinary, multitalented artist and a natural force of ongoing creation. He is the founder of the sober dance event Nirvadance®, former Ecstatic Dance Hamburg, which has been sold out more than 108 times and counting. At these events, he holds the ritual space and performs about half of the shows as a DJ and musician.

His vision is to bring sober and substance-free dancing to the heart of society — to make the natural high accessible to everyone, for a happier and healthier life. His mission is to create unity by setting up spaces where we can reconnect through our most fundamental common ground: the realization that behind all our diverse opinions, definitions, and perspectives, we are all human beings — connected through universal consciousness.

He is an accomplished mentor and has taught well-known acts like Felix Jaehn, Leah Luna, Tayphoon, and the rising artist Pia Rosa the art of conscious DJing. He possesses a deeply grounded understanding of how to reflect human emotions through music and how to guide the spirit into a transcendent and transformative flow state.

His artistic career began at the age of 12 with the discovery of the didgeridoo, which he still occasionally incorporates into his outstanding performances. He has played multiple times at legendary festivals such as Fusion and Parookaville, as well as in iconic venues like the Porsche Pavillon — in cities ranging from L.A. to Helsinki to Berlin. He has also brought Nirvadance to top-tier venues like Hamburg’s resonanzraum, the JazzHall, and the Mozartsäle.

He has appeared on major German television networks like ARD and NDR, and in prominent newspapers and magazines such as Hamburger Abendblatt, Berliner Tageszeitung, MOPO, and Stern, among many others. In 2017, he was awarded the Projekt N Award by the German government for his Organic Beats Solar Tour (O.B.S.T.), a climate protection initiative. He also holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and has been actively engaged in environmental protection for over two decades.
