This past weekend I attended the second annual Yoga Kula at Sacred Soul Farm in Naples, Florida, and experienced a refreshing/renewing weekend of sunrise meditations, yoga with renowned yoga teacher Jaye Martin (Sarasota), sound baths, and just an overall nice sense of community with like-minded individuals on their healing journeys. 

I had the honor of leading everyone on a sonic journey for the "Día De Los Muertos" themed ecstatic dance under the new moon on Saturday night. We honored our ancestors and those who we hold dear to our hearts who have passed on, and one of the fellow attendees performed a traditional Hawaiian song and dance honoring ancestors. This was the perfect introduction to what would become my favorite time DJing to date. It's true when we say the best is yet to come, and this weekend confirmed that in a huge way!

P-Ben drops a three-track deep techno EP via Loose Records, which has tribal drums, dubby synths, and dance floor energy.

Hailing from the south of France, P-Ben is a techno stalwart whose been releasing underground music since the '90s. This is his second time featuring on Loose, and his immersive style can also be found on other record labels such as Florian Meind's FLASH, A.Paul's Naked Lunch, and Planet Rhythm.

Throughout his decades long career, P-Ben has also proven himself to be a skilled DJ, earning bookings across Europe and beyond. He influences include the likes of Kevin Saunderson and Jeff Mills who share his same timeless sound.

The EP's title track, "Body Drum" opens the release with flowing congas and snare rolls forming a framework for sweeping pads and jackin' vocal bursts.
