Hidden Empire sorgen heute für die inzwischen 100. Ausgabe der Jeden Tag ein Set Podcastreihe. Das Duo aus dem Pott begleitet uns nun schon viele Jahre, daher viel uns die Auswahl für die Jubiläumsausgabe nicht schwer. Zuhause auf Stil vor Talent liefern sie einen Hit nach dem Nächsten ab und haben sich durch ihren einzigartigen Sound eine große Fanbase erspielt. Hidden Empire haben mit „Lost Spirits“ im vergangenen Jahr ihr neues, vielseitiges Album auf Stil vor Talent veröffentlicht. Sie steuern dabei mit kreativem Ruder von Techno bis Deep House mit einem frechen Reach-Around bis hin zu einem eher downtempoartigen Vibe. Aktuell steht ein neuer Remix für Senkrechtstarter Yubik auf Radikon in den Startlöchern.

This week we are honoured to have Marcus Meinhardt for flow sessions 009. The Berlin veteran delivers a energy packed deep house and techno set that has serious weight. Thank you Marcus for joining us and for those listening in, thanks for being back. Buckle in, more next Friday.

Marcus Meinhardt was already in touch with music in his early youth. No later than the beginnings of the 90's, when techno started to establish in the german clubs, his passion for electronic music was lid and it became an elementary component of his life.
It was then, when the autodeduct turned to an activist. As MUNA and later as a member of the SMS Team, he managed to enlarge his know-how in the domain of spinning records. Soon own ideas and projects followed- some finding their way into the capital: Heimspiel, Vereinshaus, Micasa and last but not least his own event alignment- the successful Home-Sweet-Home which provided him an important platform for a musically free expansion, ever since enjoying a steady growing popularity. Due to his driving sets, Marcus Meinhardt- the Berlin boy by choice- achieved more and more appreciation- enjoying success as a dj in almost all leading clubs and established festivals in Europe.
With the production of his own tracks he bringed from a dj to a self made music producer- releasing his first EP in 2004. 
Together with his friends and colleagues Marco Resmann and Hawks Grunert, he launches his own Label: Upon You Records on January 1'st 2007. Here he is enlarging his career as a musician even further. Since then he is providing a playground of the special kind for his label artists, musicians, music colleagues and friends- nationally and internationally.

There are people who make music and people who truly live music. Marius Drescher definitely belongs to the latter type of artists.

The smalltown raised and now Berlin based producer very early discovered  music as a direct connection to his inner self and a form of communication to the outside world. On his constant strive for perfection he built his own world around music where he carefully crafted his deep, emotional trademark sound that often gets complemented by elements of anger, joy or just raw energy - always in constant interaction with his surroundings.
