On the 12th of April, 2021, Redolent Music head-honcho and Iberican sound creator, DJ Chus, alongside Dubai-based DJ and Producer, Rosewall, and Frankfurt-based vocalist and producer, TOSZ, bring together their immense production prowess in a stunning combination of their unique take on House music with their single, ‘WHO’. This hauntingly beautiful single showcases the depth of creativity and emotion formed when these artists get into the studio together, with soulful vocals, emphatic synth leads and subtle tribal rhythms that permeate throughout the original, bridging the gap between melancholic and a hopeful transcendence towards the future, leaving the audience with a sense of longing for more.

Stepping in to take the original down a darker road, Crosstown Rebels and DFTD artist, Made By Pete, makes his debut on Redolent music with his rendition of the mesmerizing original. Ghostly atmospherics, trance inducing synth lines and an anthemic bassline, Made By Pete modulates the original's intention whilst staying true to the Redolent Music sound with a perfection his productions have become acquainted with.

Closing off the EP, DTD co-founder, Haze-M, also steps onto Redolent Music for the first time with his upbeat rendition of DJ Chus, Rosewall and TOSZ’s, ‘WHO’. Scintillating percussive keys, enigmatic arps and a constantly groovy bassline, Haze-M contrasts the single's beauty with a dance-friendly reimagining, displaying his invaluable ear for remixing and a quality that is not often reached.

Delivering his first outing on SOL, Koelle offers five tracks which combine his classical music education to the deep melodic sound which has made him a name to watch in the past years. Indeed, the German DJ and producer brings to life an instrument which has been the cornerstone of his early musical education, his cello, all the while staying faithful to the tones which make him a usual suspect on top labels in the genre such as Anjunadeep or Lane 8's This Never Happened.

Things start off strong with the title song 'Awakening from a dream', a minimalist track where Koelle's lush cello piece is complemented by a classic progressive house driving bassline and a dry kick grounding the whole.

True to its name, 'With My Cello' keeps going in the same vein, showcasing the musician's sheer ability, complimented by a few sparse keys and Margret's voice rising in the distance from time to time.
'Finding you' is a playful dialogue between the whistling hats and Elli's divine voice lifting up the composition. The ever evolving pads are carried by a kick that rises through the tune, nonchalantly carrying it and upping the energy.

On 'Homesick', the laid-back breakbeat serves as driving force through the tempest of melodies, hats and percussion surrounding the ears, with the main melody continuously remaining fresh through its countless variations.

'Timeless Soul' sees Koelle ending the EP with a record that encapsulates perfectly his musical influences. Despite his cello stealing the show once more, it is its juxtaposition with the bouncy bassline and simple keys that give it such a unique feel.

‘Yang’ is the latest solo endeavour from Reza Safinia, the Album draws on his deep interest in Eastern philosophy and his own spiritual practices to inspire a sound that marries the ethereal with a call to the dancefloor. This new album was written as the first global lockdowns were lifted. It follows on from Yin, which was composed at the start of the pandemic. Both albums reflect the energies of those different situations, and both were recorded at 432Hz - a tuning standard that is said to resonate with living beings and our chakras. The albums and their titles are inspired by the Chinese cosmology principle that everything consists of a balance of Yin and Yang. 
Yin is the pianos and strings, and Yang the electronic production elements. They have been conceived from meditation and a mindful presence in one's environment, with deep connections to humanity. Musically, the albums combine everything from electronica to downtempo, melodic house to techno. Importantly, Yang carries a sense of hope for human connection and lust for celebrating life.

Jessica Saves makes a scintillating SOL debut this January with an intricate 3 track release titled ’Weekend On Alpha Centauri’. The title cut sets the scene immediately, coating lush, wavering synth-work and distant vocal samples in a dense, cosmic atmosphere that is truly palpable.  

‘Final Approach’ paints a picture of its own through the use of hypnotic pads and delicate melodic touches. The combination presents a flowing evolution that consumes the listeners and transports the mind far from home.  

Closing out the release is ‘The Forests Of Arion’, which presents a third chapter in the story. Similarly tense and beautifully textured, it offers up an inimitable experience of its own, contrasting a threatening low-end with entrancing melodies. It renders a dark yet hopeful conclusion.

The French phrase “Enfant terrible" refers to a young genius who is very unorthodox. Their behavior, work or mere thought induces shock in bystanders. A Canadian label by the same title, L’enfant terrible, now presents a truly awe-inspiring release! Originally produced by In2Deep and Luis Leon, “Blue Ridge” illustrates its mountainous namesake. A pair of remixes thus emerges from the cerulean haze. Closing things out, Artphorm provides a thought-provoking view of the title track. Thick atmos, echoic instrumentals and offset beats act as a catalyst for listeners’ consciousness.
