'Next Round' a deep yet punching grooved winner, infectiously cool, with subtle layers, guided by a chunky bass stab, that develops in the breakdown, creating tension before powering back in to action. Legit Trip steps up on remix duties, the talented Russian adds a swagger, and takes us deeper, with a rolling bassline and hypnotic dubbed out vibe. The next original from Dilby & Pornbugs is 'Beyond That'. Bubbling and tasty, this deep viber, with an air of sophistication, is a real hypnotic workout for late nights and setting the mood. Bondage-Music head honchos Pornbugs prep the labels next release for early April comprising three original tracks and a remix from Mihai Popoviciu. Since 2006, German duo Pornbugs have been pushing their minimal yet ambitious dance floor orientated house music through clubs across the globe, with their label Bondage-Music acting as a catalyst for forward thinking music. Bondage-Music also works as an outlet for other talented producers including Romania’s Mihai Popoviciu and inmotion music signee Markus Homm to further develop their sound. Fresh from a string of early 2017 digital releases from Frink and Sous Sol, April sees Bondage-Music’s first vinyl offering of the year, kick started with the subtle and melodic cut “When You Are gone“, which takes a deep groove and laces it with a plethora of soft synths and atmospherics. Mihai Popoviciu then reworks “When You Are gone“ into a different entity, rewiring a headier groove into the track with raw-defined hats, building further tension with tight synth stabs and ethereal pads. Vinyl Only Track “Innocent“ then takes tribal tinged percussion to new depths, fuelling it with booming kicks and flourishing chords, further intensified by swirling vocals. A pure dub aesthetic then shines through “Maritza“, as saturated drums and a rumbling low end provide the skeleton for swelling synths to meander alongside spiritual vocals, closing out the package.

 Danny Howells, Darren Emerson & Dave Seaman’s 3D Project is back on Selador with 3 more original productions from the intrepid trio. When three high ranking Acid House Generals world’s collide, the results were bound to produce something special and so it’s proved. Coming straight off the back of a highly successful tour of South America and a string of European Festival dates, the legendary threesome pick up where they left off on their debut EP earlier this year with another high calibre release. 

This time Dave paves the way with ‘Rodales’, a huge weapon in his sets over the last few months, it’s all about the prolonged teasing build, bass drop payoff and distorted melodies. All good things come to those who wait! 
Then Darren steps up with the wonderfully titled ‘BUB’, a multi-faceted mystical beast straight out of the leftfield. Balearic Techno anyone? And finally, Danny drops a banger in the form of ‘Violencia’, an acid tinged, peak time roller that’ll singe your eyebrows if you stand too close. Hot! 

In a way, the EP neatly encapsulates the 3D project as a whole. Individually, each is a winner in it’s own right but collectively, it’s greater than the sum of its parts. Three is the magic number.

Bio:

Spanish producer Mark Alow is an emerging talent with an ear for deep grooves and organic melodies.

Early 2018 is when Mark’s swift ascension in the scene kicked off, beginning with the Golden Tiger EP on the praised Sol Selectas label. Complete with remixes by Uner and Robbie Akbal, the track White Tusk was received with acclaim and rose through the charts before settling in the top five deep house tracks on Beatport.

In March, Mark Alow released his the Nebula EP on Solar Distance. The three track project featured ‘Trip To The Lonely Planet’, a melodic organica masterpiece with tech undertones. The track reached number three in the deep house charts. With the steady stream of top notch releases, Mark Alow remains the best selling Deep House artist of the year.

Mark has been on the road in recent months, playing gigs in Montreal, Ottawa, Armenia, Toronto, and Tulum. He has also released a collaborative project with Gab Rhome on Bar 25, with a follow up release set for the Spring. Mark's Define EP was released on XYZ in March, featuring vocals from Amega and the dancefloor killer, Azure.
