A fun mini-game with an even more fun tune to back it up. Midas River had this tempo increase that I loved, so I have recreated that in 4 layers. the 3rd layer is greatly increased and will actively get faster, when getting to the 4th layer, it will return back to the original tempo for the finish.

Midas River [Acceleration - Super Mario RPG]

Dynamically different then almost every track in the game, the Weapons Factory stands out as a long piece to demonstrate the difficult journey. With the echoing sounds of the Anvil and Machinery in the back ground, in a scene reminiscent of a Graveyard, lacking in Life, it truly sets the stage for the final fight with Smithy.

Weapons Factory [Super Mario RPG]

Hard to Believe its been 25 Years since Super Mario RPG was released. When it Launched in North America in May of '96, I was only 5 years old. It was an introduction to the RPG Genre for me, and would lead me to discover my love for the genre and playing Earthbound and Chrono Trigger as well as a kid.

It's not competition for me that Super Mario RPG is my Favorite game. It stands up well to time, has a large OST of which every single song is just superb, and dawned two of my favorite characters in Geno and Mallow. I and my Brother loved the game so much that we would make board games and card games inspired by everything in Super Mario RPG.

Boy am I so excited to see the Turtles return to their original animated form in the new game Shredder's Revenge. From the old art style, but new music and upgraded feel, they may actually out perform the quality of turtles in time.

TMNT Intro CHIPTUNE [1987 - Shredder's Revenge]

When this theme plays, you know something is wrong around you. Using music to set the tone was such a good way to change the tone of a setting and honestly its not something I see done in games other than the Mario Series, and even then its rare and typically just the RPGs.

Because of the strong feel of the original, I've opted to enhance rather than reimagine the instrumentation, resulting in something I feel turned out fantastic!

Here's Some Weapons [Super Mario RPG]

One of the more relaxing themes in Super Mario RPG, I always got the vibe of a resort, rather than a hotel/business lobby.

Rolling with that, I have given a lot more comfort to the instrumentation but duel layered every part with a strong attack and a reverb, beckoning the halls of to your comforting retreat.

Booster Resort [Welcome To Booster Tower - Super Mario RPG]

The Ultimate Show. One of the greatest Final Boss themes coming at a huge twist at the end of the Game. Originally I Remixed this back in 2016, but wanted to give this song a new coat of paint and new wheels to help represent how much I have grown as a Composer and Audio Editor. I really love the distortion and Pitch Bending effects I used here.

The Ultimate Show [Super Paper Mario]

Going Shopping In Seaside Town is one of the less remembered songs unfortunately. When you arrive here, the song "Here's Some Weapons" used to show something is wrong is played, and once solved you don't really spend much more time here.

Still though, I love the happy nature of the track, and did my best to amplify that feeling!

Seaside Town [Super Mario RPG]

With a 6 word name for a song title, its no wonder this song often gets forgotten. It's always been odd to me that Super Mario RPG has 2 boss fight themes, with neither being a true definitive "this boss is more important" feel to them.

However, this theme has such an odd syncopated rhythm and timing for instruments to come in that writing my own percussive progression to it was quite the challenge.

Fight Against A Somewhat Stronger Monster [Minor Boss - Super Mario RPG]

The First part of the Final Boss, Fight Against Smithy has some of the best lead progressions of all the themes in Mario RPG. I always felt that the Organ used for this lead was a wasted possibility, so my goal with the remix was to add a lot of Grit to each facet, and also a supplementary percussive progression.

This Song has so much despair and fear built into the composition and distortion. Its with that in mind that I've built upon the original, completely replaced the Drum Progression to emphasize the chaotic nature of the lead, and add some grit to the bass and lead.

Fight Against Smithy, Who Likes Transforming [Smithy Fight Second Stage - Super Mario RPG]

I find it odd doing a Remix of a Remix, but this is an exception. Super Pipe House is a Remix of Mario's leitmotif, which is the Main OverWorld Theme for Super Mario Bros. My goal with this was to add a more cutesy, peaceful vibe to Mario's Oasis home.

Big Blue [F-Zero]

I am today's years old when I learned that its StickerBUSH not StickerBRUSH. A true masterpiece of a song, listed as one of the greatest songs ever made in a video game. Its hard to follow up that greatness with your own rendition, but thats what I've done here. I really went to town on the pitch distortion across this piece, really bending into each area where I felt it needed it to replicate the wind instruments on synth.

Break Free [Lead the Way] - Chiptune Remix WITH VOCALS [Super Mario Odyssey]

I needed an upbeat remix that promoted my brand well. This theme was designed to sound like a cross between Super Mario RPG and Sonic 3. I enjoyed making it a lot, and I hope people like hearing it at the end of videos now!

Extreme Victory [Victory Theme - Super Mario RPG REMIX]

A shorter boss theme than normal, but is typically the case with the Battle Network series as things are so fast paced. This was originally Arranged by an artist who posted to Kingdom Heart Insider, but didn't attach their name to the mix.

A lot of the music I do i can typically play out what i see or hear, but as you'll hear from this, the backups, base and even the lead are quite complicated. While this arrangement did have quite a few mistakes, it did give me a fair starting point to build upon. Some of the things i removed was his drum progression and added my own to help sell the edm feel that I wanted, and additionally, i gave a lot more depth to each of the main components to the piece.

Not something that I'll do often, but when you make remixes every day, sometimes you just need a helping hand. Hope you enjoy the remix!

System Error!!! [Boss Battle - Mega Man Battle Network 3]

With the upcoming release of the Tom and Jerry Movie, I wanted to bring it back to a more classic time. Funny enough, even this version of the theme was well into the life span of Tom and Jerry, which is approaching 100 years old, which is just mind boggling to me.

Original piece didn't have any percussion, but I feel like if it were done again for the NES or SNES it would (yes there was a game on the NES and other consoles!).

I have to extend a great thanks to the Legendary Elon Musk. He brought this back into our lives with a simple line of text.

Overall this was a fun song to remix. I forgot just how repetitive it gets at times, so I've done my best at spicing it up with the instrumentation choice and also gave it a nice heavy beat during the bigger segments.

Darude Sandstorm [Chiptune Remix - Inspired by Elon Musk]

I love Super Mario Sunshine. I was fortunate enough to get the game as a kid and have a lot of fond memories with my brothers trying to find all the secret shines and blue coins. I think what I loved most was just running around this Hub map Delfino Plaza and watching it get brighter as I collected more shines. There was a real sense of weight to your progression, and in addition you had things like the news bulletin announcing stuff happening around town and special events that would trigger as you gained more shines.

For the remix, i wanted to add a grant Kirkope style adaptation to the over all feel to the track, something you may find as a special event on delfino plaza itself when getting a shine.

One of the most hype themes across all of smash, Multi-man Melee 2 is an alternate version of the Main theme to Melee. It definitely set the standard for future smash titles, since every one that followed Melee repeated this process.

A special cover of "Beware the Forest Mushrooms", featuring a Composure friend of Mine, Titans Tracks (on Youtube), featuring their latest track "Remembrance".

I poured a lot of love into bridging our two songs together, making sure to carve out the middle section special for his lead, with the main percussion being from his track, including use of his crash and risers.

Additionally, for that special vibe, I've included those classic Super Mario RPG Sounds, especially the ones associated with Geno, to add to the percussive progression.

Forest of Remembrance [Beware The Forest Mushrooms - Super Mario RPG] Ft. Titans Tracks

One of my all time favorite songs across all music. If I am ever just in a bad mood this will snap me right out of it.

I wanted to retain that bouncy nature, but for it to fit in the genre more, i pulled back the tempo and added some electronic percussion to help drive the beat at the new tempo.
