Improv Jazz solo starts at 4.22m.  Dan's right hand carries the melody, and a surprise  ...the left hand accompaniment is the improv jazz solo featuring the 8' Piano, and some complicated harmonies and chords.  (How do they do it?)

Edith Piaf's wartime standard If You Love Me (Really Love Me) gospel-fied by the Tony Thomas Quartet at the May 2013 Jazz Vespers service at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Niles, IL. Tony Thomas-Organ, Mark Demmin-Vocals, Svonimir Tot-Guitar and Danny Reese-Drums. The song actually starts off in the wrong key but with sheer professionalism, we find our way back to the key we rehearsed it in. Also, be sure to catch Svonimir's great, soulful solo.

FM Radio Aircheck: Excerpt from Matias Bombal's "Classic Jazz and Swing" as heard Sunday evenings on the KXJZ Stations of Capital Public Radio.  March 20, 2005.  This broadcast was also heard on affiliate stations KKTO and KUOP simultaneously.  Matias discusses the possibility of the theatre organ as a jazz instrument, compares to a dance band and interviews a layman and an expert on the subject. Via remote lines, organist Jim Riggs gives listeners a tour of the Wurlitzer at the  Towe Auto Museum (sic, now California Auto Museum. Born in Peoria, IL, Mark’s early exposure to music was in his home and his grandfather’s church. Music has always been a focal point in the Demmin household, with many vocalists and keyboard artists in the family. As a crooner in the classic tradition, singing the great standards of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s is his greatest joy, with the Glenn Miller favorite,“Serenade in Blue,” his trademark piece. He has also lent his voice to radio jingles and commercial voiceovers in the Chicago area. Mark has had the opportunity to work with known Chicago area pianists: Larry Harris, Johnny Gabor, Bruce Oscar, Spencer Keys, David Turner, Frank Caruso, Bradley Williams, Larry Novak, John Wright, Maryanne Garrett, as well as nationally known jazz organists Tony Thomas and Tony Monaco. Mark has also appeared with other well-known Chicago jazz artists: Rusty Jones, Nick Tountas, Dan Shapera, Nick Schneider, Chad Rager, Andy Meecham, Paul Jacki, Kelly Summers, Danny Reese, Frank Portolese and Pete Castronova. Mark is the principle director of Vintage Vocals Entertainment in Naperville, IL. VVE specializes in presenting, the great American Songbook. More to the point, Jazz and Popular Standards spanning the decades of the 1920's to 1950's. He is a trained lyric baritone and his vocal power/range has been compared with the likes of (Golden Age) crooners: Johnny Hartman and or Billy Eckstein as well as popular current American lyric baritone, Thomas Hampson. He also has experience in comedic writing, as well as several studio recordings.
